It’s the latest new business to open in the @stamfordquarter’s Foundation building.
Located on the ground floor of Foundation next door to @nellspizza, it’s the fourth Yum Cha after outlets in Manchester, Liverpool and Warrington.
Literally translated from Cantonese as “drink tea”, Yum Cha offers a casual dining take on traditional Chinese classics, serving roasted meats, a selection of steamed and fried dumplings, rice and noodle dishes and Chinese tea.

❗️Here’s CCTV footage showing a man brazenly attempting to break into West Beverly bar and restaurant on Shaw’s Road in Altrincham last evening.
The man spent over half an hour trying to break through the back door after arriving around 8.40pm - before he was disturbed by owner Justin Orozco, who had raced back to his bar after being alerted by an app connected to the camera.
The would-be burglar fled the scene empty-handed and police have this morning found both fingerprints and blood at the scene. The back door also suffered significant damage.

🎥 Take a look inside @nellspizza - Altrincham’s newest restaurant and bar which is officially opening on Friday after a soft launch this week.
Famous for its 22-inch pizzas, Nell’s is the latest name to move into Altrincham’s brand-new Foundation building in the @stamfordquarter.
Founder Jonny Heyes told us: “We’re so excited to be here. Altrincham has an amazing reputation for food and drink and this is a great site and a nice opportunity.”
Nell’s will open from 12 until late seven days a week, with a DJ every Friday and Saturday.
