Guess who's back with the cheesecake facts!

Brace yourself, Aberdeen, 'cause I'm about to spill the beans (or should I say cream cheese?) on where to get the best cheesecakes in town! 🍰🧀

Ordered:
- Strawberry & Cream
- Lemon Curd
- Pistachio
- Tablet

It may came as a surprise but the pistachio was actually my favourite of the four (all still very delicious)

But if those flavours don’t tickle your pickle, there a very large selection to choose from, with some vegan options as well.

If you find me at beach scoffing my faces with these, grab yours and pull up a chair…

When Aberdeen beach meets breakfast goals - get your hands on this insanely delicious breakfast burrito from the and start your day like a champ! 🌊✨

Deets:

Ordered:

- Breakfast Burrito - 5.50
(Large tortilla wrap toasted with bacon, sausage, omlette, hashbrowns, cheese sauce and ketchup)

Definitely a winning choice, it was so delicious. Scoffed down in less than 5 minutes. The cheese sauce was the game changer

Now I’m obsessed with Breakfast Burritos..

The “ NEW YORK” tasting menu was fantastic . A few stand outs for me.

We started off with a cocktail (not pictured) at the bar before being ushered to our table.

The menu looked so exciting.

We opted to start with :

Snacks - Corn Dogs and Aperitif - Downtown Manhattan

Followed by the six courses.

1 - Beef Burger Doughnut
2 - Eggs Benedict
3 - Little Italy
4 - Clam Chowder
5 - Chelsea Market
6 - Big Apple

My favourites were Little Italy (best pasta dish I’ve tasted in a while), Clam Chowder (I just love fish dishes) and of course the Big Apple (Sweet tooth 💁🏾‍♀️)

We also opted for the matching wines, not sure I’ll be doing that again, as not really a wine drinker. It was enjoyable though.

Date Night was excellent.

Can’t lie I didn’t even know this hotel existed till we visited. Such an hidden gem. It’s absolutely gorgeous inside.

📍Garthdee Road, Aberdeen, AB15 9FX

We had dinner in the Tapestry Restaurant and boy was it delicious.

I opted for a Main and Dessert -

Trout Main with crushed potatoes, tender stems, Mediterranean Vegetables and Basil Pesto.

Tonka Bean Panna Cotta , peppered strawberry and shortbread.

Both delicious dishes, the basil pesto and Mediterranean vegetables on the main were amazing.

Dessert had strawberry, it was already a win.

Matty opted a Starter and Main.

Smoked Salmon with Texture of Beetroot, Baby Capers, Shallots and Horseradish Mayo. It looked amazing (unfortunately didn’t get a taste)

For main he was for - Lamb with Herb Crust, Cream Mash Potato, Peas Ala Francaise and Red Wine Jus (not pictured)

The lamb was very tender, it’s not my favourite meat, but I enjoyed the bite offered to me.

Planning a staycation at the venue soon, so looking forward to revisiting.

Definitely living my “fall girl” fantasy with these seasonal flavoured cruffin from .

I ordered through the website as I don’t like to chance fate as they sell out quickly at their stockist.

- Pecan & Maple
- Pumpkin Spice

I was actually taken aback by the Pumpkin Spice Cruffin (didn’t realise I would like it so much). Gorgeous filling and light, flaky pastry.

I may to wait till December, to get more doughnuts from .

I had to secure the goods, it had Strawberries so I think it was fate. 👩🏾‍🍳😘.

The Queen of Doughnuts is on maternity leave from tomorrow I think.

If you missed out on the getting the goods, hope the pictures pacify you somehow.

I’m binding my time before I demolish the other three. Bit show how I’ll be able to cope till December.

If there’s Gyoza 🥟, you best believe I’ll be getting it.

My order from . I didn’t realise there’s still a booking system, we managed to get a walk in.

I had the:

Chicken Teriyaki Bowl - unfortunately wasn’t really keen on this, didn’t taste like ones I have had before

Hoisin Duck Roll (can’t really remember this one, I know I ate it tho)

Prawn Gyoza - 👩🏾‍🍳 😘. So good (however , I yet to see anyone butcher it)

Love the theatrical aspect of Yo sushi, if you want something quick, definitely the place for you.

Finally out of the food coma, but still on the Pizza high.

Such a fun night pre launch .

Got to try the menu 👉🏾 and can safely say they do some good pizza. Enjoyed l all of them, so definitely can’t pick a favourite yet. (Need a several more visits).

If you like pizza (be strange if you didn’t) and enjoy the amusement park - it’s a no brainier.

I love doughnuts, as so many of you may have gathered.

has been on my list for a while, so I woke up bright and early to make sure I got my hands on these.

I went for a box of 4 and my picks were - Lemon Meringue, Toffee Popcorn , Maple Bacon Ring and Strawberry Shortcake.

My stand out is definitely the Toffee Popcorn and Lemon Meringue.

Probably wouldn’t go for the Maple Bacon again, was a bit too savoury for me.
