Good news: We received news overnight that The Barn has been awarded Semi-Finalist (2nd place) for Best Short Film, by Stockholm City Film Festival 🥈🙏🎬🎥🎭

The next BIG film festival for The Barn, is the Bristol RS Film Festival on 30th November. The Barn is a Finalist in the categry of Best Drama and is to be screened. All tickets are sold out but we are very lucky that Lena Richardson Hill (Mary) will be attending 🙏🎭

Our fingers are firmly crossed 🤞

The Barn has won 4 categories at Amsterdam New Cinema Film Festival, for
🥇 Best Short Film
🥇 Best Drama
🥇 Best Director
🥇 Best Cinematographer

Here’s our message to the jury:

We want to say a massive “Thank you” to you. On behalf of our entire cast and crew, and our wonderful production team - this really does mean the world to us. 4 wins is just amazing news and such a re-assurance to know that The Barn has inspired and moved you to recognise the immense amount of work and passion that went into to this project since September 2023 to the Premiere in August 2024 and indeed beyond. It’s been quite a journey.

We have SOLD OUT 🎬
Tickets to join us at the Premiere have all gone BUT you can still see The Barn on the big screen.
- 22nd August at Chichester International Film Festival. I will be attending also.
- Late August. Sussex Film Festival, Horsham. Date ro be confirmed.

We are also hoping for The Barn to be screened at a number of other festivals around the UK during the next year before it lands on Amazon. Currently Bristol, Leeds and Glasgow have shown interest as have Indiana, California and Vancouver in North America, and Berlin and Rome Indie festivals in Europe.

Great day today for The Barn and post-production team🎬, as we attended the Test Screening at Chichester Cinema

Seeing and hearing the magic coming together, with Mark (centre) the wizard projectionist in the driving seat, was a real treat.

A big thank you to Paul Burton (Editor, 2nd from right), Matt Summerfield (co-Composer, right), Matt Goddard (Assistant Producer, left), and Trina Rodwell (Producer) for getting us to this point, and indeed the amazing cast and crew for your continued support, as well as Chichester Cinema, Weald & Downland Museum, Saint Andrews church,
Still some tweaking in the edit to be done but we’re now on the home straight 🎬🎹

Now just over 2 weeks to go until the premiere on the 4th August.
