Ce mardi, les agents du Département de la Savoie ont dégagé le secteur stratégique du Pont des Neiges, à 2 500 mètres d’altitude. Alors qu’il ne reste plus que trois kilomètres à déneiger côtés Tarentaise et Maurienne, le col de l’Iseran devrait rouvrir ce vendredi 5 juin.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW, DON'T GO!!! Yesterday a German family got themselves lost above the cliffs on the Face du Charvet, forcing a pair of pisteurs to risk their own lives to come and help them. The family were so badly placed that the Pisteurs couldn't guide them out and had to call in a chopper to get them out. The helicopter pilot then had the enjoyable job of executing a rescue underneath a very low cloud-bank. Luckily the pilot proved his skill-set and got everyone in just two rounds. The family will be paying about €3000 for the experience.
