https://www.fanbase.to/rochemusique Based in Paris but born in Tours, Roche Musique sees daylight in 2012. Sure.

It’s the brainchild of artist and label manager Cezaire, aka Jean Janin. After being a influential blogger and party maker, it was natural for Jean to start a label pushing his eclectic taste. Influenced by House, Nu disco and Funk, Jean quickly brought around him a team of young and promising talents to transform Roche Musique into one of Paris’ reference label. Two years in, Roche Musique has es

tablished a solid roster with France’s most promising talent. This bunch has been on a solid strike of releases, earning millions of plays on Soundcloud and YouTube. Kartell (Riviera) and FKJ (Time For a Change) started things up. Cherokee (Don’t Matter) joined in 2013, along Karma Kid (Like I’m On Fire), followed by Darius (Romance) and Zimmer (Sensify Me) in 2014. From House to R&B, Roche Musique leads the way to a new French Sound. Could it be called French Touch 3.0 ? This group of artists is definitely shaping a new sound that has nothing to envy to its predecessors, and that is unmistakely French. Appart from it’s solid core of top players, Roche also pushes bounderies with eclectic signees : Jordan Lee (from ‘Love On The Beat’ fame), Dabeull (« Coolege » collective) and Plage 84 are bound to soon release EPs on Roche. Plenty of big name artists have supported Roche Musique’s releases : Canadian beatmaker Kaytranada, UK house stapple Bondax, Gramatik, Kastle, Diplo and many more. In this digital age, it’s also nice to see Roche Musique is about true friendship and team spirit. If you follow their instagrams, you’ll see the Roche Musique’s crew smashing pretty much every party in Paris town and beyond. Selman Faris & Kudsi Erguner – New single “UBUD” – OUT NOW 🪈🤍

“UBUD,” the second single from Selman Faris, is a very special track for the artist. It was created in collaboration with his father, Kudsi Erguner, a master of the ney and an icon of Turkish Sufi music. The ney, a key instrument in this tradition, plays a central role in the track, creating a beautiful harmony between heritage and modernity.

Having joined the label last June, Selman Faris, originally known for his work as a producer with renowned French artists such as Nekfeu, Alpha Wann & Stromae, is now embarking on his solo career with us and his own label, Kiraz Records. He brings a fresh wave to our catalog, blending electronic grooves with his Turkish roots.

’s new single “Paris Special (Live from Zenith)” - OUT NOW ⭐️

In 2022, FKJ began a new chapter by forming his first live band, emphasizing the importance of improvisation to keep touring creatively fresh.

During a 70-show tour, he recorded nearly 100 improvisations, ultimately selecting favorites for his upcoming album, “22_23 Live Sessions”. It includes seven live improvisations and four reimagined classics performed with a string trio, each track named after the venue it was created in.

Today, he released a single from the album, a live performance from Paris’s Zenith in March 2023 🇫🇷

At the Montreux Jazz Festival in July 2019, , , and the Roche team had the immense privilege of being invited by Quincy Jones’ team to meet this musical legend. That moment will forever be etched in our memories.

This tribute to Quincy Jones goes far beyond a simple act of recognition. His influence on the evolution of music has been profound, and its impact still resonates in the work of the label and its artists. A true pioneer across genres, he broke boundaries by producing jazz, funk, hip-hop, R&B, and so much more, inspiring countless projects within the label.

Through this gesture, we aim to honor his legacy and highlight the timeless importance of his contribution, which continues to fuel our creativity and inspire future generations 🤍
