Hello again! As you know, Eastern European countries in terms of electronic music are a huge source of inspiration for us. Our goal has always been to promote talents from these countries. So we add to our counter another country that is dear to us: Serbia.
And it is with great joy that we share with you a mix signed DJ Aurora. And what to say about her set, a brutality with a sharp mastery, mixing sounds with various inspirations and with a fast rhythmic that makes a devastating cocktail.
Born in Belgrade, AURORA immerses herself in electronic music at the beginning of the 2000's, when a stammering scene was developing in Eastern Europe. The Serbian artist develops her sound culture by passing from Drum&Bass to electro, and ending up in techno. These different styles form the basis of a brutal musicality to which is added a touch of mental and melody. For proof, the artist is inspired by prestigious labels such as Polegroup, created by Oscar Mulero, трип famous label founded by Nina Kraviz or BPitch Control of Ellen Allien.
As Sugar Lobby her former name, the Serbian artist has imposed herself in the Serbian scene until becoming one of the most important artists of Belgrade, where we could see her in prestigious and recognized places like Drugstore or No Sleep Festival. It is under her new name AURORA, with ultra rhythmic and punchy sets that we share with you this new discovery to our great pleasure.

Hello everyone, today is a special day for our channel as we welcome in our podcast series for the first time an experimental and ambient set. And for that, nothing better than to welcome the talented American artist Death of Codes.
Residing in the San Francisco Bay Area, the American artist was predestined to get involved in music. During her childhood, she played piano and pipe organ, which she now considers a primitive synthesizer. Then she started playing Indie Rock in a band in which she played with a Microkorg in 2010. Then she invested in a DAW and started producing electronic music in 2012.
Influenced by the music of Wendy Carlos, Kraftwerk, Björk and Front 242 when she was a teenager, her great musical curiosity pushes her to explore all styles of electronic music. In addition, her musical ear was developed while singing for a choir in a huge Italian cathedral in Florida, a region known for its large old buildings capable of diffusing the sound of voices in a breathtaking way. Her musical sensibility is inspired by these sonic experiences which give her a unique musical authenticity in the sound experience.
But her journey does not end there. As a true entrepreneur, she has recently launched her own label Death Pillar Records, where she shares all her music and with the will to integrate new artists soon.
Thus, Death of Codes offers us this podcast of rare power, in which the vocal power intertwines with the ambient atmosphere, and invites the listener to enter a quasi-spiritual sound journey. His progression is extremely fast, LORD JALAPEÑOS already starts producing and has defined a well marked style. Influenced by artists such as François Dillinger, Jensen Interceptor, Mall Grab or Volruptus, his repertoire is extremely developed. One can detect a touch of darkness in listening to his work, especially explained by his passion for metal, and his influences from bands such as Earth Crisis, Knocked Loose and Kickback. This diversity of sound produces a mindblowing result and a real authenticity that categorizes him as a complete artist.

Originally from Toronto, Mike Davis has always had a taste for music. Involved in projects around punk music, it's his flatmate that makes him discover techno. He then started buying records and began to develop his musical culture. His influences are too numerous to mention, which explains the eclecticism of his musical selection, but we could mention Takaaki Itoh, PAS or Terrence.
He then created his own label "Brenda" on which he released most of his tracks. For the TAAAR mix, he used two 1200s, XDJs, a Xone 96 and a Memory Man with Hazarai.

Hello again dear listeners, for this winter period it is with great privilege that we share with you a very high quality auditory journey, concocted by the care of Ksenia Kamikaza.
Born in Latvia, Riga, Ksenia decided to settle in Georgia in Tbilisi four years ago, famous for its great clubs and its passion for electronic music.
She also discovered electronic music in the 90's, spread in post-Soviet countries. Ksenia Kamikaza is part of this generation in search of an identity of its own and in accordance with its values of freedom, expression and which is raging with great raves in the Georgian capital. Very quickly passionate, the Georgian artist took her first steps during a music show on a radio station.
Her first EP came out in 2009, and she released her debut album "Japanese Georgians" in 2015. Focused on emotions and feelings, her music is never made to dance or to relax. She is more about listening, about the auditory experience.
Her selection process is to identify her sounds that contain a certain melody or part of an experiment, or a deep emotion. For the Taaar podcast, Ksenia has selected music from Georgian artists and mixed it with international producer tracks popular in Georgia and who played there. The authenticity of Georgian techno is the melancholic emotion, then boils up to become aggressive, brutal or even rebellious. There's always that moment you would describe like "crazy". This is the spirit of this mixtape: a controlled progression leading to a crazy end.
For the continuation of her projects, Ksenia Kamikaza is working on her second album, rather ambient. She also has a lo-fi project with Antiproject. Influenced by rock, industrial and ethno music, we invite you to continue discovering this fabulous artist through this related project.

He released his first EP on KR records including a remix of Blame The Mono. After that, he published a track on the VA of Matière. Additionally, the artist from Lille performs in a series of podcasts, including one on the Domix channel. He plays in the local Parisian and Toulouse scene.
He draws his inspiration from the great names of the Portuguese and Spanish mental scene such as Moddullar, Oscar Mulero or Tensal. We can also add Antigone, Luke Slater or Answer Code Request. For this seventh edition, it's time for Angel Bali's(facebook.com/bali.ange)deep techno and hypnotic Berlin trance.
Born in France, Angel left France 12 years ago, and has been travelling all over the world. This is how she refines her musical tastes and develops her own universe.It is notably in London that Angel discovers a scene and artists that inspire her: Four Tet, Floating Points, Burial or Aphex Twin. She then begins to mix then to organize her artistic events.
As she listens and practices, Angel moves towards a bewitching music, which inspires dance and encourages dreaming. Her recent influences are all "hypnotic" artists such as Luigi Tozzi, Edit Select, Joachim Spieth, Claudio PRC, Fabrizio Lapiania, Feral, Anthony Linell... and labels such as Affin, Hypnus, Outis, Attic, Mental Modern, Systolic Records - a small European techno label on which Angel signed her 4-tracker EP last year, Hellish Paradise).
Today, Angel devotes herself to a production work in search of a particular authenticity, juggling between techno and ambient. She also works with a Berlin based producer for a "more techno" project and a London-based producer from Sine Language Records. For TAAAR, Angel offers us a meticulous selection, which plunges us into a timeless journey, with hovering atmospheres that translate all the subtlety of her music. We wish you a nice listening.

(Shadow in a Versatility of a Random Anthem)
Born in Tbilisi, the artist spends his childhood there, lulled by classical music which sharpens his ear and refines his musical sensitivity. Always passionate about electronic music, the eccentricity of his influences gives him a variable musical approach, hence the explanation of his artist name: Shadow in a Versitility of a Random Anthem.
In this mix made for TAAAR, the artist wanted to demonstrate all the technique for techno mental by his constancy. The atmospheric atmosphere is deep, worked permanently by a continuous mix of tracks up to 3 decks at the same time. One can easily detect his inclination for artists like Conforce, Anthony Linell, Jorjick and many others. S.V.R.A is also preparing the release of an LP and a vinyl on the Unheard label, co-created with his friend RTNH.

We sincerely hope you are doing well in this time of containment. We are therefore very proud to share with you a new and surprising podcast concocted by the Swiss Pelin Vedis.
Born and raised in Istanbul but currently living in Basel, music had always a very big space in Pelin's life. Regarding electronic music, she started listening at a early age to 80's synthwave, darkwave and a bit of electro. "Meeting techno was later on. As a passionate raver, been going to a lot of parties since years. Especially discovering the sound that has been played around in Berlin and at one point being only a listener was not enough so I decided to learn how to DJ."
One thing leading to another, thanks to a lot of listening and practice, Pelin Vedis has refined his style to make it more punchy, more incisive, unique. Fast beats, high energy sets, dark yet groovy sound, Pelin's sets are bathed in dark atmospheric techno with a touch of old school rave. The podcast for TAAAR shows the extent of her style, with dark and hypnotic beginnings, the kicks give the rhythm of a set that lightens up to the lights of trance and melody, to the lights of old school and groove, to the lights of time.
This set makes a reference to countless labels names from the international electronic scene. From the very influential Danish scene Fast Forward Productions with fast kicks and impetuous melodies, Pelin Vedis enriched her sound by labels such as Planet Rhytm, HAYES, ARTS, Grounded, ISMUS or Lobster Theremin.
But just describing Pelin Vedis a very talented DJ is not enough. Motivated by her devouring passion for electronic music, she is involved in other international projects. In the beginning of 2019, she joined the Harder party series which originally has been found in Bucharest, Romania and later on exported to Switzerland and Bulgaria. As well as being a resident DJ and co-organiser to this series, Pelin Vedis has taken on the status of a true woman entrepreneur. In this way she contributes to the emergence of the Swiss scene, which is worthy of a true respect. DJ, promoter and organizer of electronic events, Pelin Vedis gives herself body and soul to promote electronic culture.

🇷🇺 🇷🇺 Born in Moscow in late 80-s, he got an early ear for music digging his father vinyl collection of psychedelic rock scene, which naturally brought him into playing a guitar, then extended into electronic music and mixing tracks. Having a huge collection of digital and vinyl its impossible for him to stick with one or two genres, which makes track selection an interesting process.
When picking tracks for a Taaar podcast, Vinokurov was trying to find a balance between rhythm and abstraction, between blistering kick and stunning ambience. Influenced the most by labels like Amenthia, Delsin, Giegling or Sewer Sender, his style is ideally suited for listening at home. Melody, simplicity and deep tones are the watchwords of this work.
So as to focus on music, the Russian artist does not maintain any presence in social media. That is why it is such a luck for us to share you his work to the French public.
