🎶 My First Discovery: The Digitakt meets my Korg Monologue! 🎹🎛️

Hey !

I'm thrilled to share with you this inaugural jam performance featuring my new partner: the Elektron Digitakt. 🎶

It was an absolute powerhouse, an incredible experience I wanted to capture and share with all of you.

The Digitakt is an immensely powerful instrument that completely blew me away. I had the pleasure of exploring its possibilities and showcasing them in this live performance.

A big thanks to Ihor from "Beats For Scratch" on YouTube for his exceptional informative videos that guided me throughout this journey with the Digitakt. What a well of inspiration! Thank you!!!

This live session was truly an adventure for me, as it marked my first time exploring the capabilities of the Digitakt and Monologue on camera after about an hour of preparation.

I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed crafting this performance. Feel free to leave your comments, impressions, and suggestions for my upcoming musical explorations.

✖ I am delighted to present to you my first musical creation, "Bochorno," a minimal techno track inspired by the eponymous wind, the "Bochorno." This particular wind is associated with a sensation of suffocating and intense heat, an experience that characterizes the region of Barcelona and its surroundings.

In "Bochorno," I aimed to recreate a captivating atmosphere by using rich and evocative sound textures. The subtle elements and sonic variations create a hypnotic ambiance that invites the listener to immerse themselves in this musical experience.

The "Bochorno" is a meteorological phenomenon characterized by high temperatures and stifling humidity. This hot wind, usually blowing from the south or southwest during the summer, brings about a feeling of intense and oppressive heat. It is this unique atmosphere that inspired me to bring "Bochorno" to life.

✖ Immerse yourself in the dark and minimalist universe of my latest mixtape, made exclusively using the sounds of Different Sound label and artists. DifferentSound

Their unique sonic aesthetic and commitment to underground electronic music truly inspired my sound research. I highly recommend checking out their catalog if you're looking to discover new talents and fresh and innovative sounds. This Georgian record label offers a sharp selection of underground music, perfect for creating the most minimal and groovy atmosphere.

I worked on these sounds by incorporating my own textures and atmospheres, creating a unique and immersive sound base, allowing me to play more with saturation, LFOs, and LOFI-style of my creations. With well-placed synth lines created using Novation Circuit Tracks and modified on my Pioneer DJS-1000 during the mix, I added a personal touch that reflects my style. And to end on a high note, a little surprise awaits you at the end of the mix, mixing different styles for an unforgettable listening experience.
