📊 Survey: what are your judo choices and preferences? 📊

As part of the JORRESCAM (Journées de Réflexion et de Recherches sur les Sports de Combat et les Arts Martiaux) 2025 conference, our academic friend Michel Calmet has re-edited a survey - carried out for his thesis some twenty years ago - on choices and preferences in judo.

Seven items - learning to respect others, learning techniques, perfecting oneself, gaining belts, learning to defend oneself, winning fights, winning medals - corresponding to the aims, general objectives and specific objectives of the French Ministry of Education, are pitted against each other, each time one against one, using Condorcet’s method.

It only takes a few minutes to choose from the twenty-one duels in this study.
