TRIBUTE TO THE BIAFRAN FALLEN HEROES AND HEROINES 🕯️

Today, May 30, 2024, with heavy hearts and profound gratitude, we honor the memory of the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Biafra during the tragic and genocidal war of 1967-1970. Foremost among them is our eternal leader, President General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. His leadership and vision shone as a beacon of hope during the darkest days when the war for survival raged fiercely. Standing beside him were Vice President Philip Effiong, Colonel Joseph Achuzia, Lieutenant Colonel Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, and countless other valiant souls whose unyielding courage and resilience remain etched in our hearts. Their sacrifices were not in vain; they fought so that we, the new generation, may live in freedom and strive to make Biafra a lasting reality in 2024 as Chukwu Okike Abiama has willed it to be.

The horrors of that brutal war, aimed at caging Biafra forever, are painfully etched in our collective memory. Over three million innocent Biafran children starved to death, victims of a cruel blockade imposed by the Nigerian terrorist state to break the spirit of a resolute people. We mourn them deeply and vow never to forget every precious life lost in the noble struggle for self-determination and freedom. Their suffering is a stark reminder of the steep price of liberty and the depths of Nigeria's cruelty against the peaceful and loving people of Biafra. They asked for nothing but freedom—freedom to live as all other people in the world do. They paid the price! Indeed, they paid the ultimate price that we may live today, and with one voice, we say, “Ọzọ emena" (Never again).

From this immense tragedy, a spirit of unbreakable resilience and determination has risen. The legacy of our heroes and heroines endures in our hearts and our actions. They have passed the torch to us, and we, the members of the Biafra Writers of Conscience (BWOC) and Biafrans at large, accept it with a profound sense of duty and honor. We promise, with all our hearts and unwavering resolve, that their sacrifices will never be forgotten or go in vain. We are committed to ensuring that the dream they fought for is realized—yes, we cannot fully honor and remember them without the Biafra restoration declaration set for December 2, 2024, and the imminent recognition of Biafra's independence by the international community.

To the great heroes and heroines of Biafra, Africa, and the world, as we remember your acts of unparalleled bravery, we draw strength and inspiration from them. We must continue to fight for justice, equality, and freedom, driven by your noble example. You have shown us the path, and it is now our sacred duty to walk it with the same unwavering spirit.

In your cherished memory, we stand united, resilient, and determined like never before. Today, we honor your legacy and renew our pledge to make your dream of a free and prosperous Biafra a reality in our time. We are forever grateful for all your sacrifices, and we promise to tirelessly strive for the freedom you envisioned and fought for.

Breaking information Says a Military Helicopter hovering around the creeks of Abana was bombed in the morning on Sunday, as at 9am by Biafra Navy.

Eye witness said the helicopter carrying terrorists of the Joint Border Patrol combed the area for over an hour , in response, Black Marine (Biafra Navy) fired heavy explosive consistently and targeted the helicopter and neutralised it and all persons onboard.
