🔥Unbelievable SP-1200 Saga! 🚀
In the late '90s, me and James Spectrum from bought an SP-1200 from a Cairo bazaar via an internet ad - mind you, the internet was wild back then! This beauty arrived in mint condition, upgraded even with a special Oriental Percussions sound disk! 🌟
We created 🔥beats🔥 for Pepe Deluxé, DJ Slow, and , but around '06, I bid it farewell as everything went "in the box." Fast forward to this year, and I had an undeniable yearning for the original SP-1200 magic—the sound, the feeling, and that iconic sequencer.
I searched for one in Finland, and found one in Helsinki, but it didn't click. Something was off, so I passed and walked away.
Just a week later, Finnish rap legend dropped a bombshell - he had my old SP-1200! 🤯 Being more of an MPC enthusiast, he offered to reunite me with my long-lost gear! After two decades, it's finally back and fully working all thanks to the incredible TLC by !
What are the odds?! A colossal shoutout to Elastinen and the universe for orchestrating this jaw-dropping reunion! 🙏✨
