The first Helsinki Universal Guitar Festival will lighten up the darkest period of winter from the 14th until the 17th of November 2013.

It is a celebration of "world music" and guitar, the most popular instrument in the world. Four concerts and one workshop will allow top guitarists and music lovers to meet each other. There will be modern electric guitar, acoustic jazz guitar in the wide sense of the word, and of course flamenco guitar. We will have a chance to listen to real top class solo guitar playing, and also enjoy flamenco

guitarists accompanying some great singing and dancing, both crucial elements in the development of flamenco guitar to the magnificent soloistic instrument that it is today. Finally we all are the same big family. Come with us to bring the positive energy and brotherhood in this world. Happiness is being together.
