On January 18th, 2025, we had the opportunity to listen to some great Finnish bands at Nirvana Club in Turku as BLOODREDNAILS, NUMENTO, NORTHERN GENOCIDE, and SWANSONG provided an excellent choice to spend our Saturday evening with some great performances.

The evening opened with the performance of BLOODREDNAILS. In their music, they’re blending old-school death metal with a modern touch. We had a chance to see them last year at the Metallivuori festival and they seem to be a rising star of the local metal scene. Next, NUMENTO turned the intensity up several notches. The self-proclaimed "prog bomb" did not disappoint, delivering an intricate and emotionally charged set. NORTHERN GENOCIDE took the stage next, transforming the atmosphere into an industrial and dystopian landscape. The Lahti-based band brought their eco-dystopian themes to life with a dramatic performance that blended melodic death metal with industrial synthesizers. Finally, SWANSONG closed the night with a breathtaking performance that felt like the culmination of the evening’s energy. Their blend of '80s and '90s riffing, modern extreme vocals, and folk-metal storytelling created an enchanting yet heavy experience. Enjoy our photo gallery below...
