Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22nd, which is dedicated to raising awareness and appreciation for works that have been done on the environment. It is a day to reflect on the impact we have on the planet and to make positive changes to help preserve it for future generations.

This year's theme talks about " in our planet" which highlights the importance of investing in the earth to ensure its sustainability for the present and future generations.

Some of the actions we can take to protect the earth include:

🌳 Set strict policies on deforestation and make the penalties worth the loss and damage to the environment.

Its our right to live in a healthy and clean environment, the same way its our duty to create that clean and healthy environment we want.

How does it feel to live in a polluted environment?
How does it feel to know you are the one polluting the environment?
How does it feel to live in a healthy environment?
How does it feel to know you are the one who created that healthy environment?

Think of crops without pollinators, rivers without rain, oceans without fish, land without vegetation, tall mountains without snow.

Let us protect it,
Because we are the ones who need it most,
The environment can exist without us humans,
But the opposite is impossible.
Let us preserve it,
Because we do not inherit the earth from our ancestors,
We borrow it from our children

Let us restore it,
Because we need rain and clean air,
And we can only get them by restoring the destructed zone.

Let us conserve it,
Because destroying it means drought,
Simply means destroying our self's.

Cut one, plant ten, save the environment, secure human life.
