norities and tolerance. The current constitution framework regarding the right of self-dtermination of nations is the minimum ONL accepts. ONLF is a nationally registered Political Party which will play a key role in achieving genuine democratic transformation and the respect of the self determination of all nation in Ethiopia. Politically ONLF is a progressive Social Democratic movement and will strive for social justice and equality. Economically ONLF believes that both the state and private business have a role in the economy and will advocate for mixed economy. The Somali people under Ethiopian rule are politically and economically marginalised and ONLF will strive to advance the Somali people in education, economic development, infrastructure development , trade liberalisation and Genuine highly devolved self- rule. ONLF will seek the same rights for all Ethiopians. ONLF will seek justice in the field of Fossil Fuels and mining, where today the Somali people have no say or role in the exploitation of natural resources in their own land
ONLF would foster dialogue, good neighbourliness and mutual benefit for all its neighbours. ONLF has decommissioned its weapons and has adopted a principled peaceful struggle to achieve the rights of its people. ONLF does no longer advocate the use of violence in settling political differences.
