I have received promising information that if the peaceful environment of Tigray continues well, Tigray - Hawzen will embark on a journey that can bring about a change through ecotourism.

The "Hawzen Airport" [Hawzen Airport] development project is a journey initiated by a company called " " by a number of high potential Tigrayan individual entrepreneurs.

This journey is still promising. This project is a major Airport City project that is being implemented by individuals, entrepreneurs and large companies.

As per the Document I have attached, the Airport Site Assessment Report was conducted; I have received information that there may be good developments in the coming weeks. We are hopeful that we will see it move to a better level in the coming weeks.

However, I would like to make it clear that some our friends should not misrepresent the issue of Adigrat airport.

The Adigrat Airport issue is not the same request with the ongoing Hawzen Airport. The request of Adigrat is for the federal government. This is a fair request of all of us and we will help each other together.

The Hawzen, however, is in the process of being developed as a smart city or airport city by Tigrayan entrepreneurs from all over the country. So I honestly want you to understand this.

I will keep you updated on the latest developments of the ongoing Hawzen Airport.

There is a great need to build an airport in historical city .

, the heart of Tigray, is a favorable city for investment. It is also a historic city with world-class attractions and churches in its surroundings.

is also home to internationally renowned tourist attractions such as Abune Yemaata Monastery and Gherealta hills.

town has more than 6 entrance and exit gates.

1. Hawzen- Freweyni- Wukro- Mekelle
2. Hawzen- Freweyni- Adigrat
3. Hawzen- Eidaga Selus - Adigrat
4. Hawzen- Megab- Aby Adi
5. Hawzen- Nebelet- Adwa
6. Hawzen - Megab - Wukro

We should start moving to build an airport in Hawzen which is a fast growing city with these asphalt roads as exit and entrance gates.

A new will be formed soon with people living in Addis Ababa, Washington DC, Mekelle and Hawzen.

We appeal to all of you to give your support. Let's build Airport in our land of peace and owner of world class attractions hawzen.
