We are very happy and proud that Circus Debere Berhan, Ethiopia has agreed with the Spanish entertainment company Romantic Company to produce and tour three productions in a long-term contract. The contract starts in April 2025.🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸

የ2017 ዓ.ም በብሔራዊ ደረጃ በባህልና ስፖርት ሚኒስቴር ና በአገር አቀፍ የኪነ-ጥበብ ማህበራት አዘጋጅነት የተዘጋጀው 4ኛው ዙር ''የክብር ለጥበብ ''ተሸላሚ
አርቲስትና የሰርከስ አሰልጣኝ ህይወት ጥላሁን🙏

በ 9 አመቷ የሰርከስ ደ/ብርሃንን በመቀላቀል በሰርከስ ጥበብ ውስጥ በአርቲስትነትንና በሰርከስ አሰልጣኝነት እስከ አሁን ድረስ ካላማቋረጥ አገሯን እያገለገለች የምትገኝ ስትሆን ከ1990 -2014 በሰርከስ ደ/ብርሃን ውስጥ በአርቲስትነት በአውሮፓ በሲውድን ፣በፈረንሳይ፣ቤልጂየም፣ሆላንድ በተለያዩ ፌስቲቫሎች ላይ አገሯን ወክላ ትርኢቷን ያቀረበች ሲሆን በ2013 ዓም የሲውድን የአመቱ ምርጥ ፕሮዳክሽን አዋርድ አሸናፊ የሆነው ፕሮዳክሽን የሰርከስ አሰልጣኝና ሰርከስ ኪሮግራፈር በመሆን የላቀ አስተዋፅዎ ያደረገች አርቲስት ስትሆን በ 11 አመቷ የኢትዮጵያ ጅምላስቲክ ሻምፒዮን ኮከብ ተዎዳዳሪ በመሆን ጀምራ ለሰሜን ሸዋ ዞንና አማራ ክልል በመወከል በተደጋጋሚ ግዜያት የኢትዮጵያ ጅምላስቲክ ሻምፒዮና ሆናለች፡፡በዚህም ለኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ቡድን በመመረጥ አገልግላለች፡፡በአሰልጣኝነትም ታዳጊዎችን በማፍራ የኢትዪጵያ የመጀመርያው የታዳጊዎች ፕሮጀክቶች ውድድር ላይ የአማራን ክልል ታዳጊዎች አሰልጣኝ በመሆን የኢትዮጵያ ሻምፒዮና ያደረገች ሲሆን ኮከብ አሰልጣኝም በመሆን ተሸላሚ ናት።በሰርከስ ኢትዮጵያ አስተባባሪነት በሚከናወነው ኦሞጃ ካርፔት ሾው ላይም አገራን በመወከልም ከተለያዩ አገር ከመጡ የአፍሪካና አውሮፓ አርቲስቶች ጋር በተለያዩ አገራት ትርኢቶቿን አቅርባለች፡፡በስለ ምግባራና በታታሪ ሰራተኝነቷ የምትታወቀው አርቲስት ሂወት ጥላሁን በረጃጅም የስራ ኮንትራቶች ከ2014 ዓ.ም -እስከ አሁን ድረስ በዛምቢያ፣ሱዳን፣ዱባይ፣ስፔን(2 ግዜ)፣ጀርመን(4 ግዜአት)፣አይቬሪኮስት፣ፖላንድና ለረጅም አመታት በMSC ክሩዝ ሺፕ ላይ ትርዒቷን እስከ አሁን ድረስ በማቅረብ ላይ ስትገኝ በ17ኛው አለም አቀፍ ዲ ሰርኮ ዲ ላባክቴ ላይ ሁለት ስፔሻል ፕራይዞችን ማሸነፍ ችላለች፡፡ በአሁን ሰዓት የራሷ የሰርከስ ትምህርት ቤት በአዲስ አበባ በማቋቋም እየመራችና እያሰለጠነች የምትገኝ ናት፡፡ በአካዳሚክ ትምህርቷ በቀን መርሃ ግብር ከደ/ብርሃን ዩኒበርስቲ በማኔጅመንት መጀመርያ ድግሪ የተመረቀች ሲሆን በኢትዮጵያ መንግስት ስፖንሰርነት በቻይና በሰርከስ ጥበብ ዲፕሎማዋን አግኝታለች።

Artist and Circus Trainer Hiwot Tilahun🙏

HIWOT joined Circus Debere Berhan at the age of 9 and has been serving her country as an artist and circus trainer in the circus industry until now. From 1990-2014, she represented her country at various festivals in Europe, including Sweden, France, Belgium, and Holland, and in 2013, she won Sweden's Best Production Award as an artist, circus trainer, and circus choreographer. She also became the Ethiopian national gymnastic Champion at the age of 11in Addis Ababa. As a gymnast, she has repeatedly won the Ethiopian Gymnastics championship, representing the North Shewa Zone and Amhara Region at different levels, and became a champion. She has also been selected for the Ethiopian National Team. As a coach, she has coached the circus Debere Berhan gymnastic project and Amhara Region project Team and won all the levels of the competition and became the star of the championship at all levels.
She has also represented the country at the Omoja Carpet project organized by Circus Ethiopia and has performed in various East African countries together with her fellow African and European artists. She has been serving the sector with diligence and ethics. Hiwot Tilahun has worked in Zambia, Sudan, Dubai, Spain (2 times), Germany (4 times), Ivory Coast, Poland, and for many years on MSC Cruises. She has won two special prizes at the 17th International de Circo de Labatec Circus Festival.
She is currently running her circus school in Addis Ababa. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Debere Birhan in Ethiopia and a Diploma in circus arts in China.
