This had to be one of our favourite moments so far in Spain – when the local bar flies got in our corner and fought for our right to have a fried egg with our bread crumbs*.
Migas, a Spanish delicacy or meticulously cooked stale bread crumbs with garlic, chorizo, panceta, paprika and of course a fried egg, amongst other things.

Getting dressed up and staging mock battles was so much fun, for a kid, who doesn't yet know about cultural insensitivity, stereotyping, etc.
In Spain they love "Muslims and Christians", but it's mostly adults, not kids, participating.
It's pretty wild to witness.

Hammered and floured
So things went a little pear shaped at Carnival and the crew lost contact with Gravy for a couple of hours, only to find him like this. Gravy remembers nothing from this evening, but swears that his wet pants were from pouring drinks down them. Either way, it's pretty awesome.

Escobazos Trailer
In the rural mountains of Spain's Extremadura they've been playing with fire for hundreds of years. When we asked the firemen why they didn't have a presence in the fire fight they said that the virgin was looking over the party, and so they were sure that nothing would happen.

In the northwest of Spain the local people used to give the Catholic church a headache with their use of "fertility rocks". These rocks were said to increase a couple's chance of conceiving, if they got freaky on top of them. Well, while filming our Galicia webisode, we found one such rock, and it seems like the stone's mojo really got to Gravy.
