Good Morning 😃 We want to share this information again regarding "RIP TIDES"! With the hot weather in full swing and many heading to the coast, please make sure you can spot a rip tide! And teach your kids too.
In the photos you can see an area where the waves are not breaking and it actually looks like a better place to swim. The sort of area that you way say go on kids, there’s less waves here.
Oh no no no no no!
This is the rip tide!!!!!
Swimming in the areas are extremely dangerous!
The current is heading away from the beach and is extremely fast and very strong .
Even the strongest swimmers on the planet are no match for a rip tide.
If you are caught in one , swim parallel to the beach, and then head in .
Keep your cool , think , and don’t fight the current , you will become exhausted , just swim along the beach to where those waves are breaking and they will help you swim back to shore. Stay safe everyone. 💛 C2C.
