What is the point in posting something when there is absolutely nothing to say except that I am waiting to organise shipping down all my belongings for some time in 2020 — as I have to go back & organise it all !! And after THAT redesign my entire website along the new communications approach I have developed: THAT IS THE ONLY NEWS I HAVE UNTIL THEN.

I wrote several weeks ago to the president of Switzerland regarding the administration's manipulation of the law in its financial favour instead of protecting its citizens. As usual there has been NO EXPLANATORY REPLY...

More and more Government Administrations are adopting the technique of either the "Silent Treatment" when it comes to claiming your rights or "Drowning the Fish" by asking for piles of documentation (which can difficultly be provided before their ultimatums) thereby having their own way legally.

Trump's capital of Israel & subsequent UN votes

Any words, actions or announcements from any government whatsoever which pour oil on the active volcano that the Israeli-Palestinian issue is, should go back to their previous occupation or - at any rate - avoid the kind of jobs where they are expected to have diplomacy, for Trump's statement clearly reflects the opposite.

Judging from the vote at the UN as a result, this statement applies to those expressing anything other than an abstention too.

WE HAD IT COMING...

At the turn of the century, the world had definitely confirmed the direction it was going to take : what Man had striven for centuries to do was to make better and more lasting useful objects. Now, however, Man seems to be striving to find ways of making things only sufficiently functional to break-down a few weeks after the guarantee has run out.
The main objective now is how to make the most money we can in order to stash it away hidden and untouched on a bank account, and the more numbers we see accumulating to the left of the decimal point the more secure (and therefore happier) we think we'll be...
The question 'MR Communication' keeps asking itself is : if Man can figure out how to put people on the moon, how on earth can He not figure out a way of putting people into rewarding job positions ?

The Universal Chart of Human Rights (both UN and EU) say a lot about our rights... So far, I have not seen any government worry about our 'rights' or facilitating access to them either (on the contrary: they render this impossible). However, when it comes to 'obligations' it is simple: all you have to do is PAY, and that's it. My question is : How does the citizen pay with an emply wallet?

What is a typical Administration? One that blindfolds you, spins you around and around, then asks you to walk straight through the door, saying: "it's open!".

PR : IF YOU THINK THE ECONOMY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE ENVIRONMENT, TRY HOLDING YOUR BREATH WHILE YOU COUNT YOUR MONEY.

Tenerife - 07.05.2017

Ten years ago we warned companies and governments that they must pull their own weight regarding their own office paper-waste and plastic water-goblet recycling - among others. Apparently the International Labour Organization's "Conference Week" each June and regular "Governing Body" meetings are not the appropriate fora for such remarks. Either that, or we were not heard. Maybe something visual will jolt them into attention and start-up a chain reaction? (see photos) Please God - if only for the little, innocent children's sake.

‘YES, WE CAN!’ or an OPEN LETTER IN PRAISE OF THOSE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CORPORATE PYRAMID.

Tenerife, 5th of May 2017: Lebara pulls it TOGETHER.

How infinitely more pleasurable and easy it is to report that Lebara – thanks to their ground-staff and one young girl in particular across the world at their English-speaking base in India – COMPLETELY FIXED the problem with security. Simply, agreeably, thoroughly and rapidly.

MR Communication was thrilled to praise and commended the help afforded by the young assistant to her floor-manager: “She ought to be promoted – but, failing that – should be given one heck of a bonus!”.

Contrary to popular belief, large companies CAN make changes. And, RAPIDLY. In less than ten minutes that young girl performed what entire Lebara assistants from other departments could not, undoing all the mistakes that had piled up over weeks.

If there is one thing we have learned and would share it is this: be slow to anger, quick to praise. And try to praise in public but criticise in private. And – probably the greatest of ALL:

ALWAYS GIVE THEM ANOTHER, AND ANOTHER, AND ANOTHER…
CHANCE!

Need one say more…

STRICT EMBARGO until 00h00 1st May 2017 GMT

‘A SCANDAL IN BOHEMIA’ or an OPEN LETTER TO THE CEO OF LEBARA TELECOM INTERNATIONAL.

(Labour Day) Tenerife, 1st of May 2017 – ‘When Mastodons can get crippled by a gnat’.

Dear Madam / Sir,

Having not been able to obtain your contact details, it is with great reluctance and dismay that I take up my pen to deplore the complete failure of the corporate policy structure of your vast company.

Currently semi-retired and enjoying a well-deserved rest in Tenerife, I bought a Lebara SIM card from a little ‘thatched-shop’ in Playa de Las Americas but the shop-keeper made a mistake registering the SIM card under his own name: “Rajive” or some first name of the sort – NO surname.

The executive summary boils down to this:

The Lebara Hotline – from a choice of two: whether they were spoken to in English across the world at their English-speaking base in India or in Spanish at the one in Spain (geographical guess) – freely admitted that they were INCAPABLE OF OVER-RIDING ANY INFORMATION ENTERED in their systems by an OUTSIDER…

Are you aware of what this really MEANS? The Alpha and Omega of it is that you are publicly admitting that ALL your departments of Communications Advisors, Legal Counsel, P.R., I.T. etc. etc. are POWERLESS to alter a simple ‘MISTAKE’ inserted in Lebara TELECOM’s systems through its website: you have therefore devolved not only the ability, but delegated the heavy responsibility, of correcting such a ‘mistake’ to any old one-horse-town thatched local shop on the planet, who, if criminally-intentioned could have you dancing to his tune like a Pied Piper, driving you all into the ‘river’!

Even though the poor shopkeeper, who got a grilling, tried as he may to repair the damage and re-register under my own name ; and even though I, myself – who am no stranger to communications – attempted it too, we have both been incapable of altering the information: be it with an official passport number, the fact of describing the exact topping up procedure (having passed through several of my own passwords to access a € 45.- credit through MasterCard via PayPal - which I personally authorised and has nothing to do with the security of their systems) or registering a NEW SIM card. I even sent in my mobile number to be contacted by Lebara because no online agent declined to address the ‘online chat’ on three occasions: Nada, Zilch, Nichts, Rien, Basta, Zip.

I now have: two useless SIM cards / two unidentified phone numbers & no access. Any insurances or other important Spanish companies or organisations (including the Ministry of the Interior now all have incorrect telephone details for me which I am going to have to revisit – one by one – and re-register with another phone company for I have exhausted every, single approach to get Lebara to pull themselves together (save this)).

I warned, some 20 years ago, in Geneva at a top International UN level that companies now faced a choice in their approach to communications: the ‘Mea Culpa’ approach or the usual ‘it’s not my fault’ excuses. It is sorrowful to witness – particularly on ‘Labour Day’ holiday – that one’s life-work and studies have been to no avail.

P.S. You are not alone in having no balance: on the other extremity is SWISSCOM who are so controlling they literally shut-down any communications with them and practice the ‘deaf ears’ technique. So I’m going to try and find an operator with a bit of sense. But it is looking increasingly difficult: the screen capture upon trying to even contact the Swiss french-speaking ombudsman to try and find an amicable reconciliation (visit: www.mr-communication.com or see below) speaks a thousand words...

Tenerife, Playa de Las Americas (10h00-11h00): UNBELIEVABLE TRAFFIC ACCIDENT.
It appears that at about 10h30, a drunken driver lost control of his vehicle, went over the curb, over the grassy promontory isle of grass and trees and collided with two tourists, a woman and her child, who were having breakfast on a restaurant terrace. The woman has had her leg completely crushed the child suffered severe damages to the upper body and face. They were rushed off to the Hospital instantly.

What kind of European leaders do we have, who envisage blowing migrants' boats out of the water before they leave the north African coast ? Has it not occurred to them yet, that the only moment at which they will know for sure that these boats are those which are intent on crossing over to Europe with migrants, will be when they are already filled to overcapacity with those innocent people (whose only crime is the search for a better life). And are you telling me that this is the moment at which they will confidently deploy there missiles ? Because before that time, those boats will be nothing but empty, rickety old fishing boats…
What they really need to look at are their own historical pillaging of these countries and their conscience-appeasing payments to the corrupt governments in place who each take a commission as the money gets passed down to those at the grass-roots who really need it. But by that time, there is nothing left and the country's citizens have now grown more and more frustrated with this state of affairs that they have now decided to take their lives into their own hands and risk them on the Mediterranean seas rather than wither away at home.
No, our politicians should be looking at controlling each stage of the help they send, to make sure that they reach those who need it.
But using BOMBS ?! Are they completely CRAZY ?

Text below about picture above of Philip Hughes who DIED tragically in the early hours of the morning having been hit by a “Bouncer".

I posted this following the debate on the BBC's World News Television Channel following the announcement in the early hours of the morning that the unfortunate cricket batsman, Phillip Hughes, who had been hit at the back of the head as a result of a ball, controversially known as a “Bouncer” which had been launched at him & bounced back-up to hit him on his jugular vein with an impact to his head that his doctors likened to that following a ‘car-accident’, and that he had unfortunately not resurfaced from his surgically-required & induced coma but had painlessly succombed to his internal injuries…:

"All my sympathy to the family & also to the bowler - Very Sad Day... But if this is meant to be a ‘Gentleman’s Game’, there should be no place in Cricket for bowling strategies which have nothing to do with hitting the stumps whatsoever but whose sole intention is to frighten the batsman into a defensive, self-protective passivity because of the height at which the rock-hard ball will bounce back up and thereby possibly injure him… If the ‘Bouncer’ was ever meant to hit the wicket in any way - then to remove the technique would be ludicrous. However, in the HONEST light of what bowling a ‘Bouncer’ REALLY means & its real intention, if the rules were to keep it (instead of addressing the futile debate about hemets) then one should remove it from the bowler’s armoury otherwise we may as well start pitching the ball like in baseball and aim straight at the batsman’s face (like some so-called ‘gentlemen’ tennis-players do when opponents come up to the net in order to volley… ). All this so-called ‘progress’ reminds me of the American football or rugby debate I watched the other day, where, originally it was a foul to tackle anyone above the hips… But with the massive financial implications of today’s sports, I may as well be dreaming as, nowadays, almost ANYTHING GOES - just as long as you WIN. But in that case, please, don’t call any game with financial implications a ‘gentleman’s game’ anymore : as now it would only amount to being an insult to the audience’s intelligence ! © MR Communication"

Posted at 06:00 GMT on Twitter to BBC World but re-edited for Facebook:

Racist issues aside, the murder of unarmed Michael Brown by a shooting policeman in Ferguson, USA raises issues related to the emotional/psychological/stress tolerance tests required (if they even are at all) of policemen to pass before being admitted & recruited to this important govermental law-enforcement career (and not just for the US). If one analyses the situation : had the policeman only been equipped with a truncheon (like most British counterparts), he would have HAD to use that. Thus avoiding a murder.

The unmonitored possible emotional overreaction of policemen in such situations is directly related to their ability to master their emotions and consequently their ability to choose to use a more appropriate tool for the situation at hand (which was clearly not the case in Ferguson): he went straight to his most powerful weapon AND furthermore, police in the USA are taught to ’Shoot to KILL’ not to incapacitate.

Further proof of this is that several years ago we witnessed a drug-dealer who had started running at seeing the police arrive on a crowded Geneva street (Switzerland) and - to our stupefaction - as he ran, saw the policeman reach for his gun to stop him by firing at him. Even though he quickly refrained when he heard the shock, horror and dismay of the other bystanders he was endangering, it goes to show how he followed his instinct/emotion rather than his logic/thoughts… © MR Communication

The trouble with these platforms is that one can only give fairly short arguments supporting theories of social development - or any other subject requiring some thought. I think, I’ll have to write it out in an essay or something : Internet is just not adapted to long topics.

Our Story

OFFICIAL WEBSITE : http://www.mr-communication.com TWITTER : @media_adviser

(WEBSITE & NEW APPROACH CURRENTLY UNDER RE-CONSTRUCTION)

MR Communication was initially created as a result of Swiss Authorities deciding to give their national employment policy the “Coup de Grace” by opening its minuscule job-market -particularly for the Swiss French-speaking “Suisse-Romande” which prior to opening it to the entire E.U., was already being taken by storm by cheaper labour living across the border in France - to the whole European Union : causing job losses left, right and center.

Although, MR Communication was able to strive, thrive and survive for 10 years following this “sawing off the branch one sits on” in 2004 until 2014, lack of support from policy-makers made a fight for the slices of “peanut” left not only extenuating but ridiculous and virtually impossible. However, more significantly for a business venture, it rendered any attempt completely financially unviable. As a consequence, ‘Necessity being the Mother of Invention”, life-changing decisions had to be made and MR Communication had to explore stranger tides...
