📣 DEADLINE EXTENSION 📣

The deadline for submission of contributions to Odisea 24 has been extended. The new deadline is now June 15. Odisea is published yearly by the Department of Philology at the University of Almería. The journal welcomes articles, reviews, and interviews in English or Spanish which engage critically with a broad scope of topics related to English Studies as a whole, including, but not limited to, English Language and Linguistics, Literature and Criticism, History and Culture, Translation Studies, Philology and Textual Studies. Odisea is committed to the open-access format and to sound and unbiased revision of contributions subjected to a double-blind peer review process conducted by experts. All submissions should meet basic academic standards in terms of form, scope, and content.

Contributions can be submitted electronically at https://ojs.ual.es/ojs/index.php/ODISEA/about/submissions, where detailed author instructions and access to the journal’s submission platform can be found. Odisea is indexed at the following indexing and abstracting services: Latindex, FECYT, Dialnet, DICE, MIAR, and Dulcinea.

📣 Authors are invited to submit contributions for Issue 24 (2023) of Odisea: Revista de Estudios Ingleses. Odisea is published yearly by the Department of Philology at the University of Almería. The journal welcomes articles, reviews, and interviews in English or Spanish which engage critically with a broad scope of topics related to English Studies as a whole, including, but not limited to, English Language and Linguistics, Literature and Criticism, History and Culture, Translation Studies, Philology and Textual Studies. The Editorial Team at Odisea: Revista de Estudios Ingleses is pleased to publish No. 23 (2022) of the journal. The articles included, authored by both emerging and established scholars, cover a wide range of topics in the field of twentieth-century and contemporary literature, as well as audiovisual content in English, from a vast array of theoretical perspectives, including, among others, gender studies, classicism, political studies, and folklore.

This journal owes its existence and continuity to the efforts of preceding editorial teams, but also to the commitment of our journal managers, anonymous reviewers, editorial board, and—perhaps most importantly—to our contributors. The Editorial Team is wholeheartedly indebted to them as we continue to strive for excellence in academic standards and facilitate the access to, and exchange of, knowledge in our transition to digital publication exclusively.
