Perry Mandy Johnson was drawn out of the hat and was the winner of the signed books by author Pete Davies. Enjoy the read.
Marvin Gaye cruised into the legends semi final with 79% of the public vote against Bruce Springsteen.
John Timeless Classic took us back to 1986 and C’est La Vie by Robbie Nevil which reached number 3 in the U.K. singles chart.
Kevin Mackesy was this weeks winner of The Big Quiz. Congratulations
This weeks lucky listener drawn by the computer was George Robertson. Unfortunately he wasn’t tuned in, so next weeks jackpot now stands at 25 euros.

Mr David Bowie won this Sunday’s head to head. It was a very close thing and at one stage there was only one vote in it, but with only 30 minutes of voting left there was a late surge which gave him a win by 55% to 45%.
This week John’s Timeless Classic took us back to 1986 with Swing out Sister and Breakout, which reached a high of number 4 in the UK.
Joe Brealey from Bideford Upon Avon was this weeks winner of The Big Quiz.
The lucky listener drawn randomly by the computer was Del Cameron, however, he wasn’t able to push those sprouts to one side so his five euros rolls over to next weeks jackpot which now stands at 20 euros.

This weeks show saw Whitney Houston (60%) beat Debbie Harry (40%) of the public vote and progresses to the semi final.
John’s Timeless Classic took us back to 1982 with Kraftwerk and The Model. Which was first released in 1978 but only as a B side. It was re issued in 1981 but the track was made into the A side against the bands wishes but reached number 1.
The Big Quiz was won by Francine Scott listening in Rothesay, on the Isle of Bute in Scotland.
The Lucky Listener was Michael Baluta, however, he didn’t push those sprouts to one side so the jackpot next week will be 15 euros.

Annie Lennox won today’s head to head (70%) against Diana Ross (30%) and progesses into the semi final. Thanks to everyone who voted.
John’s Timeless Classic came from 1985 with Starships, We Built This City, which got to number 12 in the U.K. singles chart.

Thanks for all your support on today’s show. Tina Turner 57% of your vote beat Madonna 43% to earn a place in the semi final of Champions League Artist. She was simply the best today.

John’s Timeless Classic this week was Propaganda with Duel, from 1985. This was their most successful single in the U.K. peaking at number 21.

Lorraine Blustin was selected randomly by computer as the lucky listener and she pushed those sprouts to one side and won 5 euros which will be donated to the food bank in Pollensa.

The Big Quiz was won by Robert Horne from Northampton. Congratulations to you.
