After spending a month exploring this unique island I can honestly say Bali is the most photogenic place I have ever been to! 📸

From turquoise blue waters, imposing waterfalls, fantasy rice terraces, black sand beaches, astonishing temples and one of the most immersive local cultures I have had the pleasure to experience, Bali is a paradise not only for photographers but for any pure travellers at heart! 💙

Bali has so much to offer that after spending a whole month exploring it, I only scratched the surface!

And yet, I have so much to share with you! ✨

Came to Thailand for a month on my way to Indonesia and ended up staying for 5 months!!

A week into my journey, I had already extended my visa for another month. Yet it wasn't until I landed in Koh Tao, that it became clear that one visa extension would not be enough haha

5 months of incredible experiences, heart-warming people and paradisiac locations... Even found a home in Koh Tao...

I will be back soon Thailand! Until then, stay awesome! 🔥

A small fishermen island in the middle of Thailand's most famous national park ✨

This is Koh Panyi in Phang Nga Bay! Only accesible by long tail boat and with all of its buildings standing above the water on pilars. Except, the one and only floating football pitch ⚽ (check profile to see picture of it)

Visiting such a unique place while being surrounded by only locals was one of the rawest travel experiences I had in Thailand!

After 4 months of living in this beautiful island surrounded by heartwarming people and becoming a Dive Master, I have packed my bags and continued my adventure...

I am excited about the road ahead, yet I cannot help but feel sad to have left Koh Tao, a place I truly got to call home!

I will be back Koh Tao, but until then, let's go on another adventure 🔥

I am not gone, just lost in Koh Tao 🌴🇹🇭

But now, I am back!! 🔥

It has been a while since I last posted a photo... Not because of lack of photos to post. I have just been absorbed by this incredible island, Koh Tao!

Yet so many things have happened since I last posted:

1. I am currently undertaking my Dive Master and learning about the underwater world, how to explore it and how to capture it. Underwater photography has stolen my heart! 📸

2. I have become a Dive Guide, and I am working at taking people on dives and honestly, loving life! 🤿

3. I have set up a couple of exciting collaboration with incredible companies and will be sharing some of the work in the future with you. 💪🏼

4. I have planned my trips for the next 5 months and they include Indonesia, Spain, Mexico & the USA! ✈️🌍

5. I have had the pleasure to go on photoshoots with some incredible people, and will be showing you the results shortly 💃

As you can see, I have been busy but I am glad to be back to sharing with you and can't wait to show you everything!

Koh Phi Phi can be a magical place ✨ if you have nice weather...

When planning my trip around the South of Thailand, I of course added the famous Koh Phi Phi Islands! 🏝️

I expected turquoise blue waters and an incredible weather. What did I get? Clouds and rain 😅

Thankfully we had a few hours of good weather and decided to make the famous viewpoint trek. Of course I took my drone!

Hong Island is a must see when coming to the south of Thailand!

With its paradisiac beaches (on the other side of the island) and its hidden lagoon, Hong Island is a day trip worth every penny!

This was the first island I got to visit in Thailand (excluding Phuket)! To me, it was quite special as I managed to get a shot I had been looking to capture for a long time; the whole island shot 😍

This has to be the most unique pitch with the best views that I have ever set foot in! 😍

I first saw it beautifully captured by almost 4 years ago. At the time, my life was heading in a completely different direction. Yet even then, I promised myself I would set foot on this pitch!

So obviously, when I arrived in Thailand, I made my travel plans around visiting this pitch and being able to capture it at the best time possible; at sunrise 🌅

I am glad to show you the results of pursuing this small yet personally significant dream!

It's been a couple of weeks since I got here, and I just can't get enough of Thailand!

The landscapes are enchantingly beautiful (like the one in this photo). The food is addicitingly tasty. And the locals always greet you with an honest smile ☺️

My original idea was to spend a couple of months here. But after just 2 weeks in this magical country, I am already planning to extend it as much as I can.

Have you ever been on a jet ski? Because I still haven't 😅

It's true! I was in the Maldives, the resort staff was riding jet skis for me to shoot with the drone and still I didn't get it one.

Now the reason is rather simple, I just wanted to continue shooting haha I love what I do and getting the opportunity to capture a jet ski at high speed meant more to me than actually getting on one.

I just kept thinking of new angles and needed to capture them haha

I have to say the results made me rather proud, especially the videos 😍

Hopefully, I can share them with you soon 👌🏼

The second I lifted the drone at the resort and saw the turquoise blue waters and the white sand beaches from the sky, I knew I would have to attempt this shot in my own time.

I have always wanted a top down drone photo with a clear color gradient through it. However, after waking up to a cloudy morning, the chances of having the color gradient pop were slim...

Thankfully, the result did not disappoint ✨

Yet, due to the current global situation, travel restrictions have made it extremely hard to travel there.

But now, finally, I am heading to Thailand, my first stop in what is going to be my longest travel journey to date.

SWIPE ⏩ for a beautiful view of a Maldivian Island

After days of diving 3 times a day and constantly navigating through the different islands looking for beautiful dive spots, we stopped at this island 🏝️

Sun was out, wind was manageable and we had some spare time. This can only mean one thing when you are someone like me... time to take the drone out 😍

Now, what you might not realize is how different the aerial perspective is. From sea level, the only thing that actually stands out is the part of the island that is above sea level (the resort). Meaning the vast majority of the island's shape is hidden. Until you get to see it from a bird's eye view 🐦

And that is the view that I wanted to share with you today!

MALDIVES 🇲🇻😍

A year ago today I gave my old job my 1-month notice, now I get to share with you my incredible trip to the Maldives. Life can be pretty wild sometimes 🔥

This is just a quick photo I snapped with my phone while landing. Yet it works perfectly to introduce this beautiful country to you. In this photo you can actually see 4 different types of islands:

1️⃣ Deserted Island: the Maldives is made out of 1200 islands, 800 of which are actually uninhabited. In this case the reason is pretty obvious, there is barely any land over the sea level 🏝️

2️⃣ Industrial Island: this second island hosts a fish processing factory. Funny enough it is also a great dive spot known as Fish Tank. Fish remains are thrown in the water which attract sting rays & sharks looking to feed. While we did dive here twice, we did not get to see any large sharks 🦈🤿 (if you look closely you will actually spot a dive boat 🧐)

3️⃣ Resort Island: little explanation needed here as if you picture the Maldives the first image that comes to mind is that of a resort. Interestingly, there are 132 resorts with about a dozen opening up each year ✨

4️⃣ Local Island: not just any local island, that is Hulumale, the extension of the Male, the captial of the Maldives. This island is actually artificially reclaimed land and currently in expansion to make more space for local inhabitants. 🏢

Bonus fun fact: the Maldives is the lowest country in the world with an average ground level of 1.5m above sea level.

At peace in the deep 🤿

This photo was grabbed from the first video of myself freediving. Still in training and struggling with some aspects of freediving, but already falling in love with the sport and the sensation of calmness.

In 2 days, I am going on a week long diving trip in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, both in land and underwater. ✈️

Can't wait to freedive again and capture the adventure 🔥

Standing on top of a sand dune too mesmerized with the sun setting over the desert to take photos 🏜️

Believe it or not, this is one of the first images we took in the desert. We left Merzouga as the sun was starting to set and half way to the camp our guide stopped for us to enjoy the sunset.

We got out and ran towards the closest dune! The view of the sun setting over the desert was unforgettable and as you can see quite mesmerizing 😅

While it is a beautiful thing to capture the moments you experience while traveling, make sure you dedicate time to actually enjoy the moment. After all, you want the photos you capture to tell the story of meaningful moments.

The Shot & The Culprit

I finally got myself a drone with a powerful camera that allows me to take shots like this one. I was so ecstatic about having it, that I took pictures of the drone itself haha Can't wait to capture the beautiful locations on my future adventures.

By the time this is published, I will be on a plane to my next adventure ✈️
