Export data:
The value of Egyptian exports to European countries amounted to $18.6 billion in 2011, and rose to $34.4 billion in 2020.
- The most exported goods from Egypt to European countries during the aforementioned period:
1. Petroleum and its derivatives: $3.7 billion in 2020.
2. Clothing and textile: $2.4 billion in 2020.
3.Food products: $1.8 billion in 2020.
4. Chemical products: $1.5 billion in 2020.
5. Agricultural products: $1.3 billion in 2020.
Import data:
The value of Egyptian imports from European countries amounted to $23.5 billion in 2011, and rose to $41.3 billion in 2020.
- The most imported goods from European countries to Egypt during the aforementioned period:
1. Chemical products and pharmaceuticals: $6.9 billion in 2020.
2. Food and agricultural products: $5.5 billion in 2020.
3. Plastics and rubber materials: $2.5 billion in 2020.
4. Electronic and electrical products: $2.2 billion in 2020.
5. Industrial equipment, machinery and tools: $1.6 billion in 2020.
Determining the most vital years in cooperation between Egypt and Europe can be relative and depends on several factors, but it can be said that the period from 2015 to 2020 was characterized by a significant improvement in trade relations between the two parties, as several trade agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed in various fields, and exports were Egyptian traffic to European countries has increased significantly during that period. The period from 2018 to 2020 was also marked by the signing of the strategic partnership agreement between Egypt and the European Union, which aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade and investment.

تحديد أكثر السنوات حيوية في التعاون بين مصر وأوروبا يمكن أن يكون نسبيًا ويعتمد على عدة عوامل، ولكن يمكن القول بأن الفترة من 2015 إلى 2020 تميزت بتحسن كبير في العلاقات التجارية بين الطرفين، حيث تم توقيع عدة اتفاقيات تجارية ومذكرات تفاهم في مجالات مختلفة، وكانت الصادرات المصرية إلى دول أوروبا قد ارتفعت بشكل كبير خلال تلك الفترة. كما تميزت الفترة من 2018 إلى 2020 بتوقيع اتفاقية الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين مصر والاتحاد الأوروبي، والتي تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في مجالات مختلفة بما في ذلك التجارة والاستثمار.
