Hatem El Demerdash, an Egyptian athlete and banker, has made history by becoming the first person from his country to complete the prestigious IRONMAN race in every continent worldwide. The IRONMAN is a grueling endurance event that consists of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile marathon run, all completed in one day. El Demerdash's impressive feat required him to travel to various locations around the world, including Australia, South Africa, Europe, North America, South America, and Asia-Pacific. His determination and perseverance have earned him this remarkable achievement, and his story is an inspiration to athletes and aspiring sportsmen worldwide.

Mohamed Salah has achieved two significant milestones in his career. He scored his 150th Premier League goal and his 200th goal for Liverpool in all competitions. This puts him in joint 10th place on the all-time top goalscorers list in the Premier League. Salah achieved these milestones in his 246th Premier League game, making him the fifth-fastest player to do so and only the 11th player in history.

Despite his milestone goal being deflected, it is still a significant accomplishment. Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool's manager, revealed that the team had been carrying a special shirt to celebrate Salah's 200 goals. Salah's 11th goal of the season also puts him in contention for the Golden Boot. He has previously won three Golden Boots.

Among the top 10 goalscorers in the Premier League, Salah and Harry Kane are the only active players. It is highly likely that Salah will continue to climb the rankings and surpass other great players in the future!

ANOCA, the governing body for sports in Africa, has awarded Egypt the hosting rights for the 2027 African Games. The Egyptian National Olympic Committee (ENOC) had submitted a request to ANOCA expressing its interest in hosting the event. This decision follows a successful hosting of the 2019 African Games by Morocco, which saw over 5,000 athletes from 52 African nations compete in various sports. The 2027 African Games in Egypt will provide an opportunity for African athletes to showcase their talents and promote sports development on the continent!
