Help Nabq Dogs

We recently decided to dna test our two rescued Sharm street dogs, Elfie and Jack. Having spent so much time wondering what cocktail of breeds they are made from, we thought it would be fun to find out! We used Wisdom Panel as they have the biggest doggy database in the World.
Introducing Elfie. A regular Sharm 'balady' street girl who turned out to be a doggy cocktail of 15 breeds.
I have to say her results were a bit of a shock!

Every day is a dog day!
This is the Mirabel pack with Big Mama in the background. I met them on the back road this morning. Not their usual hangout and the black and white Barcelo pack seemed a bit miffed their spot was taken but they all got a little food in the end 🥰

Lovely to visit the horses at breakfast time this morning in Nabq Park. Jo and the team clearly look after all those healthy shiny horses well and I thoroughly recommend their stables to anyone and everyone! 🥰

This old boy has appeared in Nabq and was seen here in Arabbucks enjoying a bit of tlc from some tourists. I would like to find him and take him to the vet for a checkup, neuter if needed, vaccinate and tag. Sorry the photos are not great but if anyone sees him can you please contact me. He has brown legs like a rottweiler but his body shape is more German Shepherd with the face of a labrador! He is big and old and clearly walks with slightly wobbly back legs just like my old gsd. So sad as he has most probably been dumped.

Elaine Keighly spotted this boy at the gate of Sierra at 2pm one day. I did a 'stakeout' there every day for 5 days at 2pm and did not find him. A few days later I saw him. Murphy law I had no dog treats in my car so had to coax him in with my MacDonalds chicken strips 🤣

Another boy from the Sierra pack we caught recently thanks to Elaine Keighly's hard work! Elaine and her dog Lucky have made friends with the pack and try to gain the trust of the few digs that have not yet got tags. This boy came close enough that catcher Walid Mahrous was able to dart him with sedative. He is now neutered, vaccinated, tagged and released back to his pack. Massive thanks to Elaine for all her work and for sponsoring this boy's tnr.

Fox in The View after release

Fox was treated by Pet shop & Clinic in Nabq for a month thanks to your donations. She was released to her original home The View 2 weeks ago. She actually came back to visit the clinic during the first week but obviously missed her friends Snowy and the girls in Arabsat as she was spotted there playing with them this morning and looks amazing!
