A musical hub catering to the needs of artists and musicians in the Egyptian music scene.

Originally just a record label, Hamzet Wasl Records was founded in 2010 in Liverpool, UK. It opened a branch in Cairo, Egypt to release its debut production, "El Mahrousa" by Property Of Nadya Shanab, in the Egyptian market. HWR has since closed it UK branch, expanded its activities and solely operates in Egypt, providing a range of services and facilities to musicians in the Egyptian music scene.

2016 sees HWR embarking on an expansion to take it into a musical hub status. Locating its headquarters in the Heliopolis area of Cairo, HWR will be offering;

- recording and rehearsal facilities,
- artist management and development services,
- publishing services,
- monthly live music events, and
- music entertainment agency services
