Rabindranath Tagore Meets Albert Einstein in 1926
In the summer of 1926, in Berlin, Germany, Albert Einstein received Rabindranath Tagore at his vacation home. This extraordinary rendezvous was a spectacle for the world, with the New York Times labelling them as โthe bard who is the mind of a manโ and โthe sage who wears the silly cap of a poetโ. Their discussion, one of the most intellectually fruitful conversations in the world, revolved around their issues of realities and truths. When Einstein spoke in English, which he found difficult, he used an interpreter to talk to Tagore. They would again meet in New York in 1930, and many people would see the conjunction of a mathematician with a mystic interest.

Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, who earned the spotlight at the Paris Olympics after claiming the gold medal in womenโs boxing, has once again found herself in hot waters courtesy of a leaked medical report that puts into doubt her fitness to compete as a female.
This report, according to French journalist Djaffar Ait Aoudia, โenclosedโ a diagnosis that Khelif suffers from a disorder that disrupts sexual development, usually leading to a condition known as intersex, and preventing the advancement of some male secondary traits.
It further claimed that she had undescended testes and salty XY chromosomes which could indicate a possible affliction known as 5-alpha reductase deficiency.

Known as the Council of Four in the beginning and later called the Council of India's Government, the Viceroy's Executive Council was a body that assisted the Governor-General (Viceroy) of India. This council was a part of the administration of the Indian territory for the period ranging from 1773 to 1947.
It was designed by the Regulating Act of 1773 with a maximum of four members; thatโs why it was formerly referred to as the Council of Four. The Indian Council Act of 1861 deviated from a purely advisory body by introducing a cabinet system with defined portfolios for each member, namely, revenue, military, law, finance, and home affairs. By 1874, a sixth member was added to handle public works.
This council assisted in carrying out numerous essential activities during the British rule in India and enabled organized rule by allocating several roles and duties to its members.
