I want to share a different side of my story when it comes to starting an online business while working remotely. I love being a digital nomad. I love the freedom this lifestyle gives me, but the road to where I am today has not been easy. 😖 There have been so many ups ↗️ and downs↘️ to this lifestyle, and so many things I wish I knew before I embarked on it, and I am about to share all of that with you! 👋

So what’s stopping you?

As you might’ve seen in my recent YouTube video, I had a chance to do something that's completely out of my comfort zone but also blew my mind: Travelled to the highest point on the earth (measured from the earth center)

While living next to this famous volcano in Ecuador is cool and all, I came to realize how incredibly thankful I am to be able to experience this on a regular Monday morning and nobody will tell me otherwise. Have I not chosen to be a digital nomad, I wouldn't have had this opportunity to live a life of unlimited travel.

Becoming a digital nomad isn’t an escape plan – it’s a life plan. It’s not about taking a gap year or a break from the “real” world; but it is in fact making this “dream life” your real life. It’s a sustainable, realistic way to live so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

So this is a little reminder that as the world is opening up, now it's your chance to let go of what is holding you back!

Joanna and the cats from are here! 👋 I look very happy in this photo it’s because I am - Not only I am grateful for the fact that I get to spend my days doing what I love while living a location-independent lifestyle, but I am also very excited about all the upcoming new projects I will be working on in the 2nd quarter of 2021!

In the next couple of weeks, I will busy working on a *fully updated* free workshop series 🎉🎉🎉 on how to build a freedom-based social media management business covering everything from debunking myths in the industry to creating demands for your brand, mistakes you're making, and much, much more. Yes, it's free. Plus, this time I will be also giving you a really awesome free bonus just for signing up - and I think you’re gonna love it :)

Another really exciting project I will be working on is my online course for .nomad.academy! After spending 7 months working 1:1 with many students and helping them get great results, I quickly realized that for me to make a bigger impact and help more people, I need to go beyond 1:1 level. Don't get me wrong, I would still be offering 1:1 coaching as I love the individual connection I build with each one of my clients, but it's also time for me to scale and expand my business.

Want to start LOCATION INDEPENDENT LIFESTYLE but are skeptical about it? SWIPE to read👉if you find it helpful, BOOKMARK it!

💸YOU CAN'T MAKE ANY MONEY
This myth lies at completely the other end of the financial spectrum of digital nomad stereotypes, but is also very common and completely wrong.

💻DIFFICULT TO BE PRODUCTIVE
While it may seem that constant travelling might take a toll on productivity but there're many ways you can stay productive as a digital nomad.

⏫YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO EVOLVE
The more skills & experience you have, the more money you can make online, and there are many ways to acquire new skills and improve those you already have!

❌But please, don’t buy that sunny beach bullsh**!!

While working on the beach might not be realistic, and no digital nomad who actually wants to get some work done ever does it at the beach so It’s important to draw the line between work and play. But if forced to chose, I would rather work from the co-working space in Bali than from a grey office in Toronto, yes.

I hope this post will give you the reassurance and courage you need to take that leap of faith!

By the end of this month is going to mark EXACTLY ONE YEAR since I’ve been a digital nomad!

I am excited share with you guys some of the important life lessons I’ve learned after 1 Year being a Digital Nomad! In this past year, not only I've traveled to many different places, met many new interesting people, started a youtube channel, AND... started my very own coaching business, Social Nomads Academy, a coaching program that helps other aspiring digital nomads become freelance social media manager so that they can also travel and work form anywhere. and all of this is happening during the global pandemic! I would never have imagined just how much can happen in 1 year!!
