This is one of Lí-Lí Octave’s happiest moments yet!

Looks like a lot is going on for Lí-Lí Octave! The singing sensation says, “What can I say? I got an awesome team! Mr. Lindsay George, my manager, has been a huge inspiration! And the rest of my management team, especially Kay Louisy and Vanessa Bruno; and everyone who has played an instrumental part in the making of this beautiful music and video have been a source of sustained support! I truly couldn’t ask for more...well, except more fans to share this excitement with!”

With four more weeks to go, we can’t help but acknowledge Lí-Lí’ Octave's knack for subtle hints. Pay attention, 'cause you just might be rewarded for your observations.

“‘What Do We Do’ is by no means your typical song. It reflects the many phases of moods that people go through being in an oppressive relationship of any kind and contemplating leaving,” says the musical songbird herself.

Lí-Lí Octave relishes being an advocate for the voiceless who are in oppressive situations.

“I truly hope that I could impart my strength to all those who would listen to my music and I could help empower them. I write with you all in mind and I can relate because I’ve been there,” Lí-Lí Octave intimated.

Could this be a new “Self Awareness” anthem?

Lí-Lí Octave has had quite the transformation since her first stage appearance at the 2012 Jazz and Creole music festival in Dominica.

The singer, who we all know by her birth name ‘Lianne Letang’, and who came to be nicknamed ‘Lily’, now goes by the stage name ‘Lí-Lí Octave‘. A name that actually suits her 4 octave vocal register.

Affectionately dubbed ‘The Caribbean Queen of Neo-Soul’ by producers, Lí-Lí Octave has been serving up the fierceness lately, and thankfully we’re all here to witness it!

You've all been waiting for the moment this loveable, Dominican goddess would finally release an original song and that moment is only 5 short weeks away!

‘What Do We Do’ is set to release on the 3rd of September, 2021 along with the music video. Are you braced? You should be!!
