What a way to share "event photos" of a film festival! In many ways it's been a different project on many levels and perspectives, hard to manage and foresee and we hope you all enjoyed yourselves a bit tonight and had fun!

Now it’s time to throw all our thanks to every single one of you who took part in this! We especially wanted to say our big thanks to our entire team for sticking with this madness to the end, it’s been a wild ride! We are super happy to see 16 teams making it through this challenge! It was intense and exhausting and we have nothing but respect that you made an entire film just in 48 hours! News about what comes next and how the festival in 2 weeks is going to look like this year soon but until then: Rest well and get some sleep, you 100% deserved it!!! ⚡️

The 48 hours have just started! This year’s theme is “REFLECTIONS IN YOU” and a PLANT, UMBRELLA and a PICTURE have to be in all the films! Good luck to all teams, see you on the other side! ✨

Each year the festival theme is supported by 3 elements. We already had napkin, lighter, mirror, spoon, coin and water. What’s awaiting filmmakers this time?🤔

While we’re anticipating tomorrow’s kick-off let’s think of possible elements together! What would you choose if you were on 48h of Hygge team? The crazier the funnier!🤓

Dear festival friends,

For the come back of 48h of Hygge Festival WE NEED YOU, perhaps more than ever!

THE FESTIVAL WILL HAPPEN, whatever the sanitary situation will be in Europe over the next couple of months. So save the dates :
- 12-14 March 2021 shooting week-end for all enrolled teams.
- 26-28 March 2021 online screening week-end.

Now WHO IS IN*?
* In for having fun making films, watching them, discussing them, coming together and re-enchanting our everyday lives thanks to them.
