N.P York & The Fools - Music For Fools 💿

At the start of winter 2022, N.P. York chose to isolate himself in a secluded cottage. Cut off from the outside world, the singer lived through a severe depression, but in the midst of the physical and psychological darkness, the now 31-year-old was struck by a raging love. The two great conflicting emotions turned into 14-songs. These songs constitute N.P. York & The Fools' debut album "Music For Fools". A mix of graceful strings, subdued piano, and raucous guitars, combined on a journey where the group fearlessly traverse genres and seamlessly blend indie pop, rock, soul, and folk.

Mette har 37 års erfaring i den danske musikbranche, som partner og direktør for Iceberg Music Group og hvor hun har arbejdet allround i pladeselskabet og musikforlaget.

En af Mettes spidskompetencer er det store marked for synkronisering af musik til film, TV, reklamer og spil, hvor hun i den grad har førertrøjen på herhjemme og i udlandet. Især The Blue Van har nydt godt af det store internationale netværk, med mere end 75 placeringer i amerikanske film, TV og reklamer.

Mette er bestyrelsesmedlem i Musikforlæggerne i Danmark, brancheforeningen for de professionelle danske musikforlæggere, og har i den funktion været med til at udforme ”Den nordiske synkroniserings model” i samarbejde med NCB.

Fantastic throwback to 2009 when we visited Vietnam together with The Blue Van, who had the opportunity to play a gig for the now Danish king and queen, Frederik and Mary. The trip was organized as a business promotion between Vietnam and Denmark, where we had the honour to be a part of the cultural delegation. 👑

Congrats to the new king and queen of Denmark❤️ in a world that’s torn apart by politics and war it’s actually quite beautiful that the kingdom of Denmark can gather in the capitol to celebrate our new royal couple and honor former queen Magrethe for 52 years of being an absolute badass.
We had the chance to meet king Frederik and queen Mary in Vietnam 10 years ago and play a show for them. They were extremely nice and took their time to chat with us. When the king and queen love Led Zeppelin we’ll be alright.

We are beyond excited to be representing the talented Signhild at Iceberg Publishing!✍️

The ambitious project was initiated with the release of the debut single "Anesthesia" in 2023, which earned the project the Upcoming-Award from Autor in the same year.
Signhild embodies an ever-evolving sound that intertwines cinematic and alternative pop with indie rock, enriched by a pronounced Nordic influence. The project aspires to push boundaries by incorporating live strings, horns, and at times, jazzy elements, drawing inspiration from artists such as Björk, Radiohead, and Susanne Sundfør.

We can't wait to see and hear the project unfold in 2024. Welcome Signhild 💚
