Two years ago, today, my teacher and greatest inspiration in music, ethos, professional integrity suddenly left the mortal realm to embrace again the eternal never ending infinite harmonious forever he came from in the first place. Vangelis was, is and will always be the greatest artist of the 20th century surpassing every norm with his incredible genius that came directly from …the Gods. He was chosen for the mission of becoming the antennae to the voices of celestial sources. He was the Tesla of sound, as Tesla was the Vangelis of light. Into an intergalactic universe and through dimensions of the multiverse, he captivated the long lost knowledge of music. Music as the intermedium of the Muses conducting the eternal dialog between God and his Creations. The Sacred Logos used to birth the Creation it self. Vangelis heard it. He decoded it. He wrote it down in musical score, using his own numerical system and not the incomplete western version. He witnessed the birthing place of human souls and cried, laughed and fell on his knees when he realized what was happening to him. For what kind of mission he was preparing for. What was the reason of all the sacrifices his mother and all of his ancestors did. Yet he never fawned, he never shown a slight sign of cowardliness, he never back down, show fear, when the powers of this world, and otherworldly powers, tried to take everything away from him. His beloveds, his friends, his …art. He stood firm. High as an Olympian. Never questioning the higher power driving him, he stood strong, if there were storms coming at him he became the thunder. He was Vangelis. He was Ulysses. The respect and awe he had for the powers he was channeling through his music gave no space for anything else except complete and utter focus, discipline, direction, humbleness, and of course… …Love. Vangelis revived ancient Hellenic spirit, alone, without any help, especially from the Greek rotten system. Vangelis showed the world that Gods will still interact with the purest of hearts. Vangelis reminded everyone that the Ancient Greek mystics and our jewel that is philosophy is not a theoretical science. But a practical science of the STEM field. Vangelis’ frequencies will be forever playing in the molecular atmospheric field. He will be forever inspire all quantum physicists and mechanics to reach higher and higher answering back the eternal calling from God calling back his creation. Vangelis completed his mission. Vangelis lived he wasn’t just a passenger. And he is still here, saluting you, challenging you to be better, live a life of contribution, be the art and create multidimensional spaces with your harmonious nature. Be it. Be about it.
