Intricately Carved Pillar in 12th Century "Thoran arches" of Warangal Fort, Telengana officially called Kakatiya Kala Thoranam.
The Kakatiya Kala Thoranam, also known as the Warangal Gate, was built by the Kakatiya dynasty in the 12th century. Specifically, it was constructed during the reign of King Ganapati Deva, who built the grand Warangal Fort and a Shiva temple, of which the arch is a part. The gates were later reinforced and fortified by Rudrama Devi, Ganapati Deva's daughter, and Pratap Rudra II.
