Returning to our roots to collaborate with Esbjerg’s Kulturelle Ungdomsfond (KUUF) was a full-circle moment for us at Ukendt Media. Having grown up in the Esbjerg area, we’ve witnessed firsthand the impact KUUF has on the local youth culture.
KUUF supports Esbjerg’s youth in engaging with a broad spectrum of cultural activities, from visual arts in public spaces, to e-sports, and performing arts in diverse venues. These initiatives offer a platform for creative expression and community involvement. KUUF’s mission is to empower young people to engage in cultural projects that enhance both community and personal growth.
Our collaboration with KUUF showcased the vital role of young individuals taking part in cultural innovation, inspiring us with the growing creativity and leadership in Esbjerg. Thank you, KUUF, for driving change and nurturing culture in our hometown.

WE MADE IT!
Yesterday marked 2 incredible years of UKENDT MEDIA, and what a crazy journey it has been!
It’s truly amazing how much you can achieve in just two years when you’re fueled by determination.
Here’s some highlights:
From living room to our own space: We started by working from an apartment living room, and now we have our own dedicated space complete with a studio, workshop, sound station, and a cozy spot to host clients and friends.
Started from nothing: We began with zero equipment and now possess everything needed for professional video and photography production.
Travelling to new places: Our journey has taken us to various places outside Denmark, where we’ve crafted video and photography projects.
We made a festival: Together with the amazing folks at ULLO, we brought the vibrant WellHigh Festival to life, celebrating subcultures in art and music.
Introducing UKENDT ARCHIVES: We extended our creative reach with UKENDT ARCHIVES, a platform where we shine a spotlight on fellow creatives, create our own content, and aim to foster a creative community.
Gratitude: We’ve had the privilege to collaborate with incredible brands, companies, and artists. A heartfelt thank you for believing in us during our early stages and continuing to return with fantastic projects.
But the most significant success? WE ARE STILL HERE. In an industry that has faced its challenges, we’ve persevered and not only that, we reached new heights. We see change as an opportunity, and we’re ready to seize it.
2024: We have a multitude of projects and ideas in the pipeline, and we’re super excited to share them with all of you!

Earlier this year we made five portraits of influential playmakers and role models at GAME for a collaboration between GAME and Soundboks.
Meet Manmohan.
Manmohan has been a Playmaker in a GAME Zone in Horsens where she has been responsible for the weekly training in street dance for kids from deprived areas. She has also been part of a program in GAME for kids and young people with psychosocial challenges where they use parkour etc. to make the kids and young people feel included. The program has shown to have had a favourable social return on investment. She has also participated in Urban Music School in GAME Streetmekka in Copenhagen where she learned to DJ.

UKENDT MEDIA is now to be found at ToTo Loft in ‘Little Vesterbro’ where we share an office space with our amazing and talented friends Oskar and Ayo from @eight.letters.studio.
Toto Loft is an old but beautiful DSB building neighboring the locomotive workshop and with a view over H.C Ørstedværket. We are more ready than ever to create new exciting projects we can’t wait to share with you.

Every time we do a music video, a documentary piece, or a photo shoot - We learn.
We learn new ways of being creative, new means for approaching people and new methods for fixing our mistakes and learning from them. We want to include you in our process to learn with us and give you an insight into what happens behind the camera.
This is our first Behind The Scenes and many more will follow.
This one is from our first music video we did in UKENDT MEDIA. We made it for a Danish artist and friend named Lars Virkli.
The song is called UDSLUKT and in collaboration with Lars and Jens we created a dark and twisted storyline.
