The Swedish Oscar shortlist has been announced, and we are very proud that Lukas Moodysson's TOGETHER 99 is among the shortlisted titles.

The final Swedish Oscar submission for Best International Feature Film will be presented on September 21.

The 96th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 10, 2024.

We are thrilled to announce that we have picked up the film adaptation of the heartwarming Christmas tale STARGATE, based on Ingvild Rishøi’s critically acclaimed and award-winning book of the same name. SF will distribute in Norway, Denmark and Finland.

The book is already considered a modern Christmas classic and has been compared to beloved stories by Astrid Lindgren, Charles Dickens and H.C. Andersen. The film will be a Christmas tale for the whole family directed by Ida Sagmo Tvedte.

We are very proud that EVIL has been selected for Festival de la Fiction - La Rochelle, running from September 12-17th 2023.

EVIL is produced by SF Studios for TV4 and C More.
The series is based on Jan Guillou's classic bestseller of the same name.

In the leading roles we will see Isac Calmroth as Erik and Thea Sofie Loch Naess as Marja. Gustaf Skarsgård will play Erik's father. In addition, Ruth Vega Fernandez, Jens Hultén, Alexander Gustavsson, Christian Fandango, Saga Sarkola and Simon Norrthon are part of the cast.

We are thrilled to announce that we have picked up THE NATION’S GAMBIT, based on Norwegian author Johan Høst bestselling and critically acclaimed debut crime novel “En nasjon i sjakk”.

The book will be adapted into a feature film by Norwegian production company Stig og Stein Studio with SF Studios having the global distribution rights. The novel has recently been nominated for the Norwegian Boksellers Award 2022 and a sequel novel is on the way. The action thriller called The Nation’s Gambit (Norwegian title: DELTA: En nasjon i sjakk) will be directed by award-winning director Jens Lien (Beforeigners, The Bothersome Man).

The shooting of internationally acclaimed director Lukas Moodysson’s and Memfis Film’s new feature film TOGETHER 99 has just started in the western part of Sweden.

The first feature film, Together became a huge success with audiences and critics in Sweden as well as the rest of the world. The new film takes place in 1999, 24 years after the first film and reunites many of the cast.

The film is produced by Memfis Film in co-production with SF Studios, Film i Väst and Zentropa Entertainments. SF Studios will distribute the film in the Nordics and Reinvent handles international sales.

TOGETHER 99 is expected to premiere in 2023.
