Sold out at our world premiere in Hollywood was news that hit us one hour before we were due to take the stage to present our film at Beyond Fest, and this is what our nervous faces looked like behind the curtains as we were about to show our film on the other side of the globe. Many thoughts raced through our heads but were quickly dispelled when some from our crew and cast had chosen to make the long journey to Hollywood from Denmark to support us! Thank you to all of you - who have truly warmed our hearts. Our premiere was a success, and we were very well received by the festival and the audience. People knew who we were, which surprised us enormously, and we even had to shed a tear for the immense support we received over there. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for this experience, which will forever be etched in our memory, rent-free!

'Kelope' is named after the Samoan word for 'Globe,' which symbolizes our company's vision for our films. So, starting off in Hollywood is indeed a significant milestone for us!

Who are we?

We are Joey Moe, the director and writer, and Jasmin Jiramani, the producer and writer. We are a Danish film duo often described as a 'dangerous cocktail.' Our journey began when we met at film school, where our ambitious visions and mindsets instantly connected. We graduated together with our debut feature, 'Ripple,' which is now set to have its world premiere in Hollywood. What started as a school project has since grown commercial and serves as a stepping stone for both Moe and Jiramani in their film careers.

A fun fact about Joey is that he has written an entire sci-fi book totaling 40,000 words, while Jasmin produced the largest Star Wars fan film at the young age of 21.

We are curious about the future and ready to wholeheartedly embrace the craft of filmmaking by creating movies that defy audience expectations. We aim to break the traditional foundations of how films are supposed to be made and let artistic freedom reign supreme. Most importantly, we do it with our hearts first.
