Würzburg, DE Coronavirus
This morning at 7:00 the city health office confirmed two cases of young adult students. At 4:00pm they issued this update:
"The Würzburg Health Department informed at a press conference today about five positive SARS.CoV-2 cases in Würzburg. This is a family. The family members have so far shown only mild to no symptoms.
As a preventive measure, the Leonard-Frank school at Heuchelhof and the school building in Rottenbauer are closed for a week."
At 7:00 am this was their statement " The Leonhard Frank School, Schulhaus Heuchelhof, will be closed on March 5, 2020 in coordination with the Health Department and the government of Lower Franconia. The Rottenbauer school building is not affected. The measure is related to investigations by the Würzburg Health Department into two young adults who tested positive for SARS.CoV. This is a preventive measure until there is clarity as to whether infected pupils have visited the school house on Heuchelhof after the end of the holiday.
The Leonhard Frank School at Heuchelhof provides emergency care for pupils who cannot be looked after by their parents. However, this should only be used in an emergency."
