Where it all began - Dirk Jan Müller's debut album "Electric Orange". Created under assistance of numerous guest musicians, mastermind Müller first appeared under the band name Electric Orange. Today, this name is associated with modern Krautrock at the highest level!
The album is now available again - for the first time on vinyl. The double LP is pressed on 180g heavyweight, orange-marbled vinyl and comes in a gatefold sleeve.

Two years after their last album, Electric Orange present their next longplayer. On the new album the band re-introduces their drummer Eric, known from the albums "abgelaufen" and "fleischwerk" some time ago. On "gap" Electric Orange show once again that they are an integral, pioneering part of the German neo-psychedelic and neo-krautrock scene. Pressed in Germany, the album is released in an edition of 300 copies on crystal clear/black marbled vinyl and is released on 180g high quality vinyl.

Check out this new version of Electric Orange's "Video à Gogo", taken from the band's archive. The footage was filmed by the band themselves, the video editing was done by DJM. It was shot in 2015 during the recording of the mini-album "Nein! HITS á Gogo".

This special footage was shoot during the recording of Electric Orange's mini-album "Nein! Hits a gogo...". All tracks on this album are driven by a rhythm machine that literally pulls the listener onto the dance floor. Electric Orange's dance record was released on 10" vinyl by Adansonia Records in 2015. A few copies are even still available... 🤩

Kungens Män - Live At Psychedelic Network Festival 2015 - DLP 2022 - AR 047
In 2015, German label Adansonia Records released "Förnekaren", Kungens Män's vinyl debut. In addition to their studio work, Kungens Män also performed on various stages and toured Germany in the same year. The tracks of this album were multi-tracked at a concert in Würzburg's Cairo at the legendary Psychedelic Network Festival. Virtually unknown to German audiences, the band quickly managed to captivate listeners with their improvised psychedelic jams. All but one of the tracks have a playing time of over 10 minutes. For this release, all tracks have been remixed by Mikael Tuominen and profoundly mastered by Eroc.

Dear friends of Adansonia,

it is with great pleasure that I can announce that the next Adansonia album, a live album by Kungens Män, will be released tomorrow.
I became aware of the Swedish band early on and was hooked from the very first moment. In 2015, a personal contact was made and we realised the idea of a small tour in the same year. In this context, we were very happy about Horst Friedrich's invitation to play at his "Psychedelic Network Festival". This gig took place exactly seven years ago to the day and, like numerous following concerts, left a lasting impression on the audience - after all, live performance is one of Kungens Män's supreme disciplines.
Taken from the band's archives, "Live At The Psychedelic Network Festival 2015" is the band's first live album on vinyl and documents an extraordinary performance.

Fantastic review of "Hydroculture" by Tribe of Cro from the Finnish music blog "Astral Zone":

"... Tribe of Cro was one of the best instrumental, jam-based psychedelic space rock bands in the 90s. They were formed in Belgium with also some British members, including ex-Mandragora and future Hawkwind bassist/guitarist Nial Hone on guitar. ...
This album has long, rather slow space jams, ultra-psychedelic experimental pieces and also some more rocking stuff for a great, trippy balance. The darkest, most psychedelic passages might be too much for some, but the psych heads will enjoy the whole trip, I'm sure. The new vinyl master by DJM sounds incredible so this is a must-have for all the lovers of freaky, spacey, mostly improvisation-based psych rock. ..."

"Despite, or perhaps because of, the way I came to this record I am a little overwhelmed by how much is in there… it is an intense but joyous experience throughout, and one whose nature I have not come across for some time. In that sense it is also refreshing because it does not lean on the sort of dystopian tropes which much of the music I listen to does (and actually I do enjoy that… whether or not that makes me weird) and I am looking forward to it being a light in my music rotation for some time to come. ..."

“Floating Islands” is the second release by the Italian space rock band Jalayan, which takes the listener on a spacy, synth-heavy and trippy journey. The band plays solid progressive space rock, spiked with electronic and folk elements, unmistakably reminiscent of Ozric Tentacles, Quantum Fantay or Mantric Muse in its structure. The whole album is bursting with energy, built up by driving synth-bass rhythms, heavy guitar riffs and lots of bubbling synths and keyboards. If you look for masterful instrumental space rock, “Floating Islands” is a good choice.

For 10 years, the one-man project Cosmic Ground from Aachen has been delighting listeners with innovative, German electronic music. On the occasion of the anniversary, a compilation is released today that gives an overview of his releases. If you are new to Cosmic Ground it might a good idea to start with "decade 2012​-​2022" as it has one track from every album. For the old fans it also might be interesting as every track is presented in any kind of alternate version or 2022 remix.

Time to thank all friends and partners of Adansonia for another year of shared passion for music!
The past year was marked by unusual working and production conditions. In addition to the continuing restrictions on live concerts, in many places both band rehearsals and studio work could not be realised under the usual conditions... an enormous increase in demand at the pressing plants leads to persistent delays in vinyl production... rising raw material prices are driving up prices for all record lovers. It's no fun that way!
Despite all this, there were also small rays of hope and I wish that there will be more and more of them for all of us next year! At least new record projects and jam sessions are being planned at Adansonia. I hope we can make it all happen.
Ok, keep enjoying the music, take care of yourselves and have a great turn of the year - we will meet in another dimension! 🤩
