Brighton-based music distributor will release a unique LP, “Sounds of Rewilding - A Day in the Life of the Knepp Estate” on Monday April 21st as a statement of their support for rewilding and nature restoration and a commitment to sustainable manufacturing in the music industry.

The recordings on the LP cover soundscapes from dawn to dusk at Knepp Wildland in Sussex, which is recognised as a global pioneer of the rewilding movement. Since Knepp began rewilding twenty years ago, endangered species such as nightingales, turtle doves and purple emperor butterflies have found sanctuary there. The dynamic, rebounding ecosystem is a story of hope, showing how nature can bounce back if we let it.

The finished album is a sonic snapshot of the world of Knepp in all its diverse wonder. Across the tracks the life that teems through the Wildland can be heard with a host of ‘stars’ from the natural world including the songs of blackbirds, robins, tawny owls, nightingales and song thrushes blending with the underwater sounds of water boatmen and freshwater snails.

Quade holed up in an barn in the cradle of a Welsh mountain valley. The valley was a stark and windswept backdrop with little daylight, as the band would huddle around crackling fires each evening.

“There was very much a feeling of being on the complete fringes of society".

It’s an album that is as dreamy as it is melancholic, as it is forceful and potent – gliding across genres like winds over those Welsh hills – to arrive at “doomer sad boy, ambient-dub, folk, experimental post-rock.”

‘Sumerian Green‘ the first single from Arborra’s upcoming album Mind Over Matter is Out Now

Saxophonist, composer and modular synth artist Arborra has played the saxophone both solo and as part of various collaborative projects all over the world. In recent years, he felt it was time to expand his sound and seek out new worlds. His interest turned towards the infinite possibilities opened up by modular synths.

Working with Berlin-based musician David August, he developed a whole new language and set out on a mission to combine acoustic and electronic worlds.

The rework of ‘Human‘ by is out now.

A stage designer at heart, the German artist Robert Lippok oscillates between musician, visual artist and set designer in his professional life. Pictured here is his home studio, where the variety of magical disciplines happen.

For his rework of Masotto’s ‘Human’, Lippok focused on the original piano melody, turning it into an industrial, driving piece.

Similar to a novel’s character developing a life of its own, Lippok’s musical elements take on a life of their own, ultimately leading to a drum crescendo at the end of the piece.

We've had the great privilege and joy to work on amazing projects such as 'In The Cell Of Dreams', 'From Moments', 'Zensibility', 'Panta Rhei', 'Ambient Layers Vol. II' and more.

Classically-trained Italian violinist, composer and producer Laura Masotto presents "Dark Horse", releasing today on 7K!.

Skillfully blending violin, viola and cello with electronic sounds Masotto begins the track with the arrangement for a string quartet, which develops throughout the piece into an ethereal moment punctuated by the addition of a synth choir.

"I wanted to create a musical space in which I could be free to improvise. This allowed me to let my emotions flow in a very unconditioned way and this is how this track was born", says Masotto.

The single comes along with a short film directed by Jarno & Marco Morandi.
