Radio Intervals

9th of February 18:00 to 20:00 CET on bauhaus.fm Weimar, USMARADIO San Marino, Radio Tsonami Valparaiso, Radio Monteaudio Montevideo, Sphere Radio Leipzig
 
Radio Intervals is a 2-hour live radio performance. An improvisation on a mixture of
inspirations by Radio Alice and its influence on the media landscape.
 
The radio studio becomes a live meeting point of artists, friends,  musicians, sound improvs, radio transmissions, live remote interventions,  news shows, voices, sonic encounters, chaos and quiet.
 
Nonsense and Dada embedded in and utilised to rethink the serious role of an essentially political and subversive station like Radio Alice that started transmitting on the 9th of February in 1976.
 
Members of the Bauhaus Radio Ensemble are: Tilman Böhnke, Fritzi Buhtz, Adrian Ciesielski, João Afonso Soares Leiria Parreira Ticão, Karlotta Sperling and Julian Hoffman.
 
The performance is part of the course Radio Alice – A live radio performance of the Experimental Radio Chair of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
