DJ Kaito X FieldMar$hal are BACK after a long break.

After the succsess of Auf der Flucht in Nigeria on Boomplay , at the beginning of this year, DJ KAITO took a longer break from making music. He played on the Regional Music Festival 2024 in Wolfsburg, Germany.

He comes now BACK with a Single of the same name. DJ KAITO get support by Nigerian musician FIELDMAR$HAL.

FIELDMAR$HAL released his debut album Footprint in 2023 and got featured on The Guardian Nigeria. Earlyer this year his studio was robbed and he could not continue making music.

On BACK both artists celebraiting their comeback to the music scene and try to make an impact again on the Nigerian music scene. At the same time they are making statements against conspiracy theories & N***s.

After almost 10 years and over 80 releases, we - Vier Sterne Deluxe Records - will be parting ways with our main distributor, CDBaby.

We began using CDBaby back in 2016 with the release of the DISS EP by DJ KAITO, which peaked at #1 on the INICAT charts at the time.

With Dingo Pictures, we hosted all radioplays, and other artists like Fieldmar$hal & Lifecat also had music with them.

CDBaby and we are parting ways due to differing views on a rights issue concerning one of the Dingo Pictures radioplays.

CDBaby terminated the contracts by 3. April 2024, and denied access to our account and hold the money on that account.

What does this mean for fans now?

A large portion of our catalog will only be available on CD at the moment. We are currently transfering nearly all of our catalog to Musicinfo. A big thanks to their ARM Juri Kobayashi who did make a change of our catalog possible. This trasfer will take it's time. Over 12 Years we released over 80 Albums, Singles and EPs. Do to that we are also overworking some coverart of Albums.

What does that mean for us and our artsits?

Do to the not accsessible money from CDBaby we can not operate as normal and have to make big buget cuts. We can not get all new releases done or even promote that were planned to release this year. Our artists have been contacted.

The year ends and the music industry is releasing their Recaps. So we do it to.

Last year we expanded our Distribution Partners with Musicinfo , this year our long time partner CD Baby closed its physical distribution center. Do to that we had a hard time and did not meet our own set CD goals.

Other than this, we grown a lot.

With MusicInfo we made arround 125.000 Streams in one year in the Chinese marekt with only 3 releases. A very good start.

With Ditto Music we made this year arround 50.000 Streams and one download in total.

CDBaby did not provided us final numbers yet so we do will update this post when we get a final number. We are estimate arround one million to 1,5 million streams.

Our Distributor CDBABY will close its CD Distribuion entirely by 22. June 2023. Please notice that we have to see how many ouf our CD Partners will delist our CDs. The availability of our products can be very limited durring the next months.
