We are super excited that DOT is playing another show together with the remarkable trumpeter Matthias Lindermayr who will accompany the set alongside the noteworthy Gregor Rudat on guitar.

The three are presenting DOT’s latest album „Tales from Erygow“ live at Heppel & Ettlich, Munich. The evening will also be opened with a short artist talk with Ralf Summer from BR Zündfunk .

Over the last years, Sinok collected his favorite beats while producing for various artists like Trip (Prison Kit) or Lena Stoehrfaktor. Mutism is a thoughtful instrumental album and Sinoks homage to Hiphop the way he likes it best: sample-based, detailed and not too clean. Finding a worn vinyl on the street or at the flea market, sampling it to finally create something new - that was exactly the process of creating this LP. Sinok has been making beats for two decades for Rap artists, but the desire to make an instrumental album has been there for ages. Free from time pressure, he only wanted to use beats that create a certain feeling that is difficult to put into words. Strangely enough, some of the album tracks have been beats that rappers he showed them to weren’t that interested in anyways - either because there wasn’t enough space for vocals or because the rhythm was too strange. Making music with others always means finding compromises. Mutism is a very personal instrumental album. Out digital and on vinyl today!

Come and join us in Berlin on 14.12.2024, to hold festivities with us, laugh and share wonderful memories. We’re celebrating with the 10th Anniversary release of DOT’s debut album Alice in a small edition of 100 with the iconic bunny artwork. There will be donation based sparkling water, beer, wine and whiskey sours. Plus live performances by DOT, who will enchant us with his complete album Alice. This will also be rounded off by Nesthäkchen Simon Dübell, who will be traveling with us on his album Undoing. Ticket numbers are very limited, so please get yours in advance. 100 years after the invention of the MP3, the Munich alt-rap dinosaurs from 88:KOMAFLASH are dropping their first digital single with ‚benzin ist alle‘. As if that wasn’t enough, they also have the inventor of the winged words soda from Berlin on board. So today they are already announcing tomorrow’s headlines, addressing Donald Trump’s soft little hands, at the end of the circle while scratching at the past themselves. Right down to the last sip of gasoline.

Since the orange version of ‚Tales from Erygow’ sold out so quickly, we decided to add another batch with black vinyl. A few last remaining orange records will still be available at DOT‘s upcoming concerts and via hhv. The black vinyl is now exclusively available at our Bandcamp store. Thanks for the great feedback and the love we received for this release.

Björn Peng just announced the reissue of his debut album Dark Rave for its 10th anniversary. There will be four different screenprint versions, besides the regular and slightly reworked original design by Musclebeaver and Moritz Welker there will be three smaller editions with new cover designs. In addition to Kernkrach Mailorder and us, our beloved in-house graphic designer 1323 has also been given his own small edition of 25. Björn Peng just announced the rerelease concert at Hafenklang Hamburg on October 4th with a couple more shows to follow.
