Alexander Skancke is a Berlin-based DJ, producer and rising talent within Europe's underground house scene. The young Norwegian
thrives off the energy of the people on the dancefloor and has made a sizeable impact on the electronic music scene, dating from way back to his early releases on Neostrictly, to the internationally respected releases on his own label QUIRK (). Entrenched in his love for vinyl and analog productions, Skancke is imbued with a passion for the very roots of house music, but has also kept his ears open far beyond the boundaries of electronic music.
Skancke’s excitement for analogue is reflected in all aspects of his life: from his work at Bikini Waxx (a record shop in Berlin specializing in second-hand vinyl), to his fascination with vintage studio gear, all culminating in his music having a wonderfully raw and organic feeling.

MARCH 17th: Alexander Skancke "Public Trouble" Release Party at Renate , Berlin - artist information: Foehn & Jerome :
Fabian Foehn and Christopher Jerome, both born and raised in Carinthia/Austria, started their partnership in 2011 in Vienna as hosts of the legendary "Café Sturz“, a regular party at the most well known destination for dance music in the capital, the club Grelle Forelle. In 2012 they moved to Berlin, where they soon found a base at the infamous Club Der Visionäre and became residents in 2013. With the party "Perfumed Freedom" and guests like Alexander Skancke, Daniel Bell, Eli Verveine, Losoul, Rhadoo, Sammy Dee and many more, Foehn & Jerome created a lot of interest.
Influenced by the exuberant style and polyrhythmic grooves of African Funk, the brothers in soul share not only a passion for collecting vinyl but also a nerdy fascination for the old machines, techniques and tricks that impacted the sound of their generation, clearly stated in their latest music on Slices Of Life, Quirk and on Ultrastretch .
Over the years, the DJ team has played some of the buzziest clubs in Europe and around the world. Their DJ sets are a unique blend of House, Techno, Acid Funk and Jazzy Breaks that never fail to excite the crowd.

Originally from Toulouse, Lamache’s career started at a young age within the industry. Inspired by artists who, back then, and still today keep the underground electronic music scene thriving, he has quickly progressed amongst the ranks proving himself as a talented and versatile DJ.
Moving first to Paris to study electronic music culture and sound engineering, the exposure to a wealth of new and unique sounds and environments led him to make the natural migration to London, the melting pot of music, artists and culture.
Formerly a member of Toi Toi Musik collective, an established and admired party and label amongst music heavy weights that is based in London, his projects have led him to Berlin where he founded his label Discobar
The record label has gone from strength to strength successfully hosting showcases across Europe as well as representing a talented group of artists from Odd Soul, The Mole, Toba, Ark, Zendid, Alex & Digby and Robin Ordell…..

Daniel Paul’s heart beats for house music. He just love to dance and make a dancefloor moving.
To make a long story short: go out and check him and his dance floor skill out, can’t better describe it.
You can expect something in between underground and overground, techno and house, soul and drive, deep and fun, dub and disco ! Let yourself go and enjoy.

But if you would like to know more about Daniel Paul, here you go: born and raised in East Berlin. you may have heard about the Daniel Paul and danced to one of his many aliases. we don’t like namedropping but it’s quiet impressive with who this guy worked with or collaborated: Daniel Bell, Richie Hawtin, The Stickman, 4hero, Chez Damier, Jazzanova, Henrik Schwarz, Capitol A, Victor Dupleaux, recently with Audio Werner, Youandewan, Subb-an, Vicmari, his newest project with Brawther as BruDan.

Alongside his rare solo projects he produced many tracks with his partner in crime ZKY as Cab Drivers, The Poor Knight, Compass, Horseshoe, Warten Borgmann on Cabinet records( he co founded 1995), as one half of Cab Drivers releases on 7th city, Shari Vari, Highgrade, Plus8, numerus rmx for many labels.
He worked with DJ Honesty as Slope, on many coproductions for Clara Hill, Deyampert and Andre Zimma.
Daniel Paul make dance floors around the globe happy. He has his ears everywhere.
August 20th he will be DJ-ing alongside Lamache and Barbara Preisinger at Renate´s Green Floor
