10 years have now passed since the Psycho Thrill Cologne BNKR years in 2014 saw the first concept podcast, which, based on the underground techno context inherent in the "Somewhere in Cologne" club, developed from an after-hour idea into the Spyinthehouse live stream that is still valid today, as well as the framework that focuses on national and international DJs / artists.

IDM, Beatdown, House, Chicago, Acid, Techno, Detroit, Electro/HiTechFunk, BrokenBeats, Halfstep and the "expect the unxpected" aspect that always creates space for surprises, define the valid framework of the bi-weekly Monday broadcast on Cologne's 674FM, which has proven itself countless times since then.

Today, to mark the 10th anniversary, there will be an outstandingly diverse electronica podcast from Dublin's rising star ARBILLA aka Phil Robertson from 10 p.m., as well as an additional track focus in the live stream running beforehand from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on new and extremely remarkable techno protagonists such as Mike Inzinger (Vienna) and Oliver Rosemann (Leipzig / Recorded Things), plus a lot of explosive sound material that will definitely make your feet not stand still.

The rest of the Vinyl Material that makes real club floor dreams true comes from the Matter Of Fact, DBH-Music, and Tresor promo fund, as well as our own record store excursions of the past few weeks. For the rest, the motto counts that always applies to the broadcast and to Psycho Thrill Cologne and Spyinthehouse obligations as always: There are no rules, fear is unknown and sleep is out of question!

ONE MORE CHAPTER in this "10 Years Of ..." Spyinthehouse cycle next Monday, October 14th, 2024, 10 p.m.: This time from our "back in the dayz" archives with the first part of a "lost" Psycho Thrill Cologne Club set from the now already legendary Parisian NOVEAU CASINO. The 100% Vinyl "PSYCHO THRILL meets PLASTIC ON TOUR" mixwerk back in December 2008 features some serious multi-styled DeepHouse, sparse Acid, and stripped-down Future Minimal to Detroit-affiliated TechnoSoul productions plus contemporary, sinister Techno tracks by DJ Bone, Rainbow Bright, DJ Jus-Ed, Yoshihiro Arikawa, Larry Hears pres. Mr. White, Morphosis (2), Marieu, Xenogears aka Analog Cops, Isometric, Ben Klock (4), Milton Bradley, T++, Maetrik, Omar S and Claudio Mate.
Detroit-affiliated

Even though there were some small problems with one of the two turntables at the beginning due to a defective pitch control (at one point in the mix the BPM rate briefly goes up sharply), after replacing the "corpus delicti" the night became a wonderfully unforgettable club night in the heart of the Seine metropolis. In retrospect, special thanks go once again to the realizer OKIN-AKA-NICO and the then "Safe The Robots" companion on the decks Thorsten Hoffmann (TRANSITION). We used to have Big Fun there that nite. And the second, longer, and considerably harder mix part of "Full Techno-Glory", which is currently under mix restoration, will also be published here shortly.

In the second part of the broadcast mentioned here, from 23:20, "Dansk Dynamit" and Radio Techno pioneer Don Voorhies goes "Under the Radar" with another perfect "Deeper Shades Of Techno & House" mix for the next three hours until 2:20 a.m..

All-n-all, nothing more and nothing less than wonderful track material for an excellent night drive through the metropolises of this world as well as highly appropriate dancing fun on the adult dance floors of this club world, far away from dull and superfluous NU-rave realities. 10 YEARS of the Spyinthehouse anniversary, still supported by Psycho Thrill Cologne, and all of this today in the third round from 7pm to 10pm with another "INVASION FROM PLANET DETROIT" special. 100% MotorCity-related House, Techno, Electro/HiTechFunk/Jazz, IDM sounds plus The Unexpected, including a full Vinyl feature of the new Soiree RecordsInternational "Manufaktured" by Derrick Train and Jani Ho as well as a lot more rare, classic and brand new electronica Black Gold from that famous area along the Detroit River bank.

The second part of the show from 10pm then features another high-quality DJ set from Tel Aviv's House and Techno Jock legend Tsaji Soussan Pacotek. a recurring guest here now -, whose last TEDER.FM set leaves no questions unanswered in any respect when it comes to DJ skills and excellent track selection. Tonite's Spyinthehouse UNDER THE RADAR session from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. comes from a highly esteemed protagonist and friend of the Psycho Thrill Cologne family: Andre Kronert is considered a proven master of so-called analog warmth in Techno, which always meets classic raw energy. And his furious track selection as well as his perfect DJ skills made Kronert a synonym for powerful and high-octane club sounds, as a DJ and producer. His previous set recording now comes from a remarkably atmospheric GOLZHEIM Club night, together with Daniel Fritschi and Cls Bchr shortly before the closure under the Theodor Heuss Bridge in Düsseldorf due to bridge renovations, and is in no way inferior to this assessment.

Tonite again Spyinthehouse or another SITH MUSIC ALERT, this time from the so-called silly period of the local holiday season. Nevertheless, once again, in addition to today's main focus on Brian Kage's fantastic "Timeless Times" album and Scott Grooves' mysterious "O.T.R.C." 7-inch series, as always with lots of slammin' tracks from the standard repertoire of rare, current and classic House, Acid, Detroit, Chicago, Electro/Breaks and IDM vinyl from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. CET.

Afterward, until midnight, "UNDER THE RADAR", a perfect Techno/Electro/HiTechFunk mix under the classic MotorCity banner from Detroit's finest Jeremiah Shaw/ Shawe Scape aka Shawescape Renegade, who will find lots of new friends here with his unique mixin' skills attitude and his great track selection.

TONITE's Spyinthehouse MUSIC ALERT, hosted by Psycho Thrill Cologne _ 10pm to 2am CET: So today's UNDER THE RADAR edition is once again still under the auspices of true masters of their DJ profession in terms of always offering the best DJ skills, perfect track selection as well as a complete understatement in performance and personal appearance.

In this respect, Tel Aviv's Techno and House pioneer Tsaji Soussana / Pacotek. once again offers a beautifully balanced mix of house, UKG, electro, tribal Sounds, and DownBeat. That all comes also with an always perfect club-atmo flavor of the Mediterranean metropolis and originally recorded live for the best city's radio station TEDER.FM. For this reason alone, no demand is definitely left unsatisfied here.

The same applies to Roland Casper's ClubMix live recording from the Hanover Moodclub. Recorded there in the morning dawn for Karla Kowalski's SUBFLOOR club series. Quite simply a unique manifestation in adult Techno messaging for dedicated club people. There's really nothing more to say. Anyone who knows Roland Casper always knows what to expect from him. It should also be mentioned that the first hour of this club set was broadcast via Chris Baumann's SUBRAUM show on the past Saturday night on 674FM@. CHRIS also subsequently mastered the two broadcast mixes. They will be available as downloadable WAV file versions in the SpyInTheHouse Soundcloud archive from Wednesday on (https://soundcloud.com/spyinthehouse_radio/).

TONITE's Spyinthehouse / 674FM MUZIK ALERT comes again along with Berlin's AVION and Karlsruhe's DET:RIOT. Both are experienced specialists in both the Techno and House genres for many years. And both deliver their very own, masterful House interpretation for this current UNDER THE RADAR edition in their own unique way.

From 10 p.m. to midnight, AVION / Carsten Köhnemann uses an artist Roosters from Chateau Flight, Lawrence, Sean Deason, Dana Ruh, Delano Smith, Gerd Janson, Orlando Voorn, Byron The Aquarius, Philip Priebe etc. as well as tracks by Blak Tony or Funtom from the current Soiree RecordsInternational fundus alongside others in a targeted and tasteful manner. That celebrates a MotorCity-affine "Nightdrive through the D" that corresponds completely to the "Late-Nite-Electronic-Body-Music" category in every respect.

DET:RIOT / Det Riot (RIOT:SOUL), on the other hand, also stages a top-class House mix, which is repeated for the second half of the night until 2 a.m. for all those who have to stay awake longer today because of work. So the last energy reserves are fully activated with ease and sophistication here for sure.

The rest is pure HOUSE pleasure, for connoisseurs, nerds, and specialists who don't know what "to do" with the common Euro-House that is generally prevalent today. So Spyinthehouse is still trying to save the world from Bad Muzik, like always supported by Psycho Thrill Cologne and always reliable via the 674FM popup player.

TONITE's Spyinthehouse MUZIK ALERT: As always, the 674FM livestream edition from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., which is monthly "alive and kickin'" on the 4th Monday of the month, featuring this time alongside the brand new Soiree RecordsInternational release "Everland (SRT-184 US 12") as well as our always common standards of NON-mainstream compliant Houze, Techno, Detroit, Chicago, Electro/HiTechFunk and IDM almost predominantly tracks that were so popular in the Cologne Techno and House scene during the Psycho Thrill Cologne BNKR period from 2011-2016 or would find their place there now also in the current sound context.

So it doesn't come up as much of a surprise when the next SITH UNDER THE RADAR hours that follow from 10 p.m. on, feature this time two BNKR DJ set live recordings, resurrected from a "lost & found" hard drive restoration (December 2013 and 2016 ) that sounds "fresh as FU**" yesterday and today and are just as mesmerizing as they are still hypnotizing back in those dayz. Without any further words, electronic Club Muzik simply true to the motto: There are no rules, fear is unknown and sleep is out of question"!
