Record label for wild & authentic Rockabilly / Rock’n’Roll
Favourite Records was a small Berlin-based Rockabilly label, managed by Kunterbunt and S. Rekowski. Favourite Records became a well-known adress for pure, genuine rock'n'roll / rockabilly in the style of the 50ies - recorded rough and undiluted to keep the original spirit and feeling of pure rock'n'roll. Between 1998-2000 they released nine vinyl-records, starting with a 10" Compilation of 12 wild & rocking tracks, titled “ROUGH ROCKIN’ - Volume 1”, featuring rock'n'roll / rockabilly bands from their hometown Berlin. Later on, Favourite Records also started releasing bands which come from other areas.
