Let’s talk about Instagram Marketing❗
Well to start with, there are 2 types, organic and paid.
Any content that you posted on Instagram without pressing that ‘boost’ button, falls into the ‘organic marketing’ category because you have not put any money behind it to increase its reach.
On the other hand, any activity that you’re doing on Instagram which you’ve put money behind for it to reach a larger audience would be called ‘paid marketing’.
The benefits of organic marketing are that it's free, makes you produce better contact, your audience will be much more authentic and deeply connected to you. The only downside is that this method takes time, effort, and energy.
The benefits of paid marketing are that it allows you to get in front of a lot of people very quickly, you don’t have to worry about the algorithm. The biggest con is that if your content isn’t good enough, the ad doesn’t work.

Want to know how you can improve your IG today? Follow these...
1. Create a reel bank: It’s very much clear that reels are here to stay and Instagram LOVES them. 😍
You can create a reel bank. It can be just ideas, fully recorded & edited reels, or a mix of both. Anything you come across, write that down.✍️
2. Let’s say you haven’t posted a story in the last 24 hours. The next you do post a story, make sure to use an interactive element in it like a poll, QA sticker, etc. It will boost your story views significantly.📈
3. Instagram search: It is Instagram's new golden child. It is growing to be the best way for a person to search for keywords and for creators to reach new audiences. 🔍
4. Are you camera shy? Well, then you might not like this... BUT show your face in your stories! It will allow people to build a deeper connection with you.🙋
Are you changing your hashtag strategy? #⃣️
Instagram recently gave a couple of different statements from their creator account and it contradicts what they said in the past which is why it’s time we change our hashtag strategy.
Instagram has been working on its ‘search’ feature for while now.🔍
Whereas, till now, hashtags were the best way to get in front of a new audience, it seems like the ‘search’ feature is replacing its place now.
Of course, hashtags are still important but since Instagram has spent so much time on their search engine, they want it to be the main source for you to find content and reach new audiences.
The first change is, Instagram now recommends you to use 3-5 hashtags per post which is a very drastic change. Personally, I think whatever is working best for you - do it. 30 works best for you? Great. 8-12 works best for you? Excellent. It's a trial an error thing.
Second, till now, hashtags existed so that people could find content related to a particular topic and so a creator could reach a new audience. Now they’re saying that hashtags are just ways for Instagram to categorize your content.

Why are you not growing on IG? 🤔
We often hear people complaining about the fact that they are not reaching new people or getting enough engagement from their audience. Here are a couple of reasons why that could be happening:
The first reason probably is that you are not giving people a reason to follow you. And this means that when someone goes to your profile for the first time, they don’t immediately understand your vision or what your content is about.
You're doing something that’s against Instagram's guidelines. Apart from the basic community guidelines, there are other things like using third-party apps not approved by IG OR you might be using some ‘banned’ hashtags.
You are not being social. IG is a SOCIAL networking site 👥. If you want engagement then you’re gonna have to engage as well.

It’s no secret that you can build trust with your followers on Instagram if you show your face in your posts.
And hence, here are some tips for you to get better at it:
1. Talk to yourself. This might sound weird at first but I want you to pretend as if you're already addressing a lot of people. You can actually try doing this in front of a mirror to build up your confidence.
2. Make yourself feel comfortable. You perform best when you feel your best. Maybe you like dressing up or maybe you don’t, maybe you feel comfortable recording in public places or maybe it's the couch that makes you feel at ease. Maybe you feel your best after eating your comfort food. Whatever it is that works for you, do it to make yourself feel the best you can before shooting.
3. Don’t make scripts. It’s important to have an outline of what you want to be talking about but don’t script it too hard. Just go with the flow and follow your chain of thoughts.
4. It’s okay to mess up: Everyone fumbles, and that’s completely okay. Just re-record the part where you made a mistake and you can edit it later. Regardless, you’ll get better at it with time.

THIS is a very controversial topic! 🙊
But I strongly believe that having an aesthetically pleasing feed helps a lot.
Every month there are 1 Billion active users on Instagram and a lot of them probably post content that is similar to yours.
So the key is to make your feed prettier, more put together, easily recognizable, and easy on the eyes. Let me give you a couple of tips:
1. Layout: Now don’t take this extremely hard but I just want you to keep certain elements of your photos/graphics similar so that when you look at your feed, all your photos look well together. Don’t go for totally different and random templates. Try to be creative by staying within your brand colors and elements.
2. Have a really cool bio. When a new person lands on your page, your bio is the only way they can know what you’re about, your ideas, values, and what your account stands for. Make that opportunity count!
3. Carousels: Make sure to plan these really strategically. The first photo should be your attention grabber. This is what’s gonna make you stand out on IG.

4. Plan ahead: Most well-organized Instagram aesthetics are planned ahead.
