With humility and gratitude, it is a great pleasure to inform the entire members of the NPP community about our coming Media Talk Show on NPP TV. This will be a weekly program, which will start on Thursday 21st October 2021
This will be continuous program which will showcase current developments in our chapter and how best to enlighten the viewer about the prospect of the Political party. It will as well serve as a platform to education the viewer about current political disagreement in The Gambia and clarify important Allegations against the party, both in the Diaspora and The Gambia.

During the last evening chat show program between Alh. Muhammadou and Journalist Pa Modou Bojang on Kuma Kesso, Fatu Network. My name was made a short topic of discussion, where Pa Modou made mention of regularly talking to me. For the record, I have not spoken to Pa Modou Bojang since December of 2018 when I was invited on a discussion on his Menbekereng program. This is two years and five months ago. I have never spoke to him about Mr Darboe and H.E Barrow in last period stated.
Since late 2017 I have not had any discussion with Pa Modou on politics let alone about Mr Darboe and His Excellency Adama Barrow.
As an independent journalist, it is prudent that, Pa Modou Bojang fact-check his opinions and make truth the bedrock of his public utterances. I am a public servant and therefore a defender of government development agendas and policies under the Leadership of His Excellency, President Adama Barrow. I urge Pa to not muddy the waters and mix issues. I respect his right as a journalist however, he should refrain from making unfounded statements.

OVER 50 FORMER NATIONAL ASSEMBLY MEMBERS AND GOVERNORS MET PRESIDENT ADAMA BARROW TODAY SATURDAY 1st MAY, 2021 .

His Excellency PRESIDENT Adama Barrow today Saturday 1st May 2021 received in audience over fifty former National Assembmy Members and Governors during the APRC government in State House.
The delegation led by their President Hon. Abdoulie Suku Singhateh were at the Presidency to express their loyalty and support to His Excellency President Adama Barrow and the organisation's resolve to mount a formidable team for his re-election on December 4th 2021.
Hon Adama Cham, Hon Foday Lang Sarr, Hon Musa Badjie, Lamin Queen Jammeh, Majanko Samusa , Karamo Jadama, Dembo Byforce Bodjang and Hon Suku Singhateh who chaired the meeting all assured President Barrow of their readiness to campaign vigorously for His re-election in the December Presidential Election. The team highlighted gains in democracy, good governance and the mammoth infrastructural development ushered in by the Barrow's administration as development oriented politics and call on all Gambians to rally behind President Barrow and to massively vote for the NPP. The experienced consortium furrher asserted that the primary goal of their group is to compliment and collaborate with the National People's Party for an unprecedented election victory for President Barrow.
In his address, His Excellency President Adama Barrow welcome the initiative and commended them for their steadfast and resolute in supporting him. The event according to the President is historic citing the vast experience acquired by the veterans politician will undoubtedly add value to his party's political trajectory . He assured them of his support and urge them to continue to work as a team and to collaborate with all NPP structures to mount an all out campaign team that will stand the test of time.The group also presented their work plan to the President and they are set to embark on a nationwide tour.

Bissau Guinean in Police Custody On Allegations of Giving False Information to Police....

The Office of the Inspector General of Police wishes to inform the public that it is investigating a false information case in the matter of one Muhammad Darboe, a Bissau Guinean following a false complaint to Police that he was kidnapped and robbed by individuals in a Taxi-car.

According to the complainant, On Thursday 29th April 2021 at 19: 30 hrs, he hired a Taxi at the Giboroh border post to the Banjul Airport to board a Dubai-bound flight. Darboe alleged that the taxi driver drove to an unknown location around Kuloro quarry where he was violently robbed of 1, 500, 000 CFA, his Bissau Guinean Passport, Visa card, ID card, and a mobile phone. He also alleged injuries as a result of the violent robbery, he suffered from his alleged assailants.

Preliminary investigations revealed, the complainant did not pass through any of the official borders in The Gambia as alleged. Also, investigators visited the alleged crime scene but no evidence linking to the crime was discovered. Curiously, even the flight manifest to Morocco found in his possession doesn't even bear his name.

Further investigations revealed that he actually stole money from his father in Guinea Bissau on the pretext of traveling to Europe through the back way. The stolen money has been entrusted to someone in The Gambia (name withheld). Police investigators are making efforts to recover the stolen money.

The IGP's office wishes to strongly advice the public to desist from spreading false information about imaginary crimes that never happened.

Any individual found wanting of such will be investigated and prosecuted in accordance with the Laws.

Similarly, online newspapers and bloggers are urged to verify facts relating to crimes in The Gambia and desist from spreading false information intended to cause panic and fear among the public.

The cooperation and understanding of the public is highly solicited.

President Barrow praises The Gambia and Sierra Leone’s long relationship

State House Media, 26th March 2021: President Adama Barrow arrived in Sierra Leone on Tuesday as the Guest of Honour at the country’s 60th Independence Anniversary. President Barrow will be joined by other West African leaders, amongst them the President of Ghana and Chairperson of ECOWAS, H.E Nana Akufo Adoo to commemorate this historic event that marks 60 years since the end of colonial rule in Sierra Leone.

President Barrow accompanied by First Lady, Fatoumata Bah Barrow were received by his counterpart and host, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, and First Lady Fatima Maada Bio, amidst cultural dance showcasing Sierra Leone's beautiful culture.

Later in the evening, President Barrow was amongst special guests honoured at a state banquet at the Laagoonda Complex in Freetown.

In response to his host welcoming remarks, President Barrow, while appreciating the honour bestowed on him in celebrating the 60th Independence anniversary of nationhood, reminded the audience of the multiple ties that bound The Gambia and Sierra Leone. He recalled that the two countries supported each other in times of need.

Recalling how Gambians benefited from university education in Sierra Leone, the Gambian President called for the strengthening of collaboration in areas such as education, agriculture, trade, tourism, youth and sports and decentralised administration.

Considering the impact of current global Coronavirus pandemic, President Barrow said it has forced governments and people to redefine their priorities and urged them to collaborate to address post -COVID priorities.

He recognised and acknowledged the crucial role Sierra Leone played with other ECOWAS members to bring stability in The Gambia post-2016 elections.

The Gambia and Sierra Leone were both colonised by Britain and gained self-rule in the nineteen sixties.
