No Nation Films is the new Proaction Film in Germany.
Starting from Dec. 15th, 2016, Proaction Film GmbH will be rebranded as NO NATION FILMS GmbH. It will be business as usual, however, a new website will gradually be introduced, new email addresses, new logo, new social networks pages… it is a new era!

For the second year running, UniFrance films and the French Embassy in the United States present the Young French Cinema program with a selection of auteur films (not yet released) to be screened at American universities, film societies, and the Alliance Française network.

The 'Silvered Water' of 'Syria Mon Amour' | The Japan Times

Silvered Water gets Nationwide Release in Japan

Retitled "Syria Mon Amour" for the Japanese market in homage to Resnais' "Hiroshima Mon Amour", the film will open on June 18th at the Theater Image Forum in Shibuya and then go on to be screened in cinemas across the country.

For his contribution to Syrian cinema, Ossama Mohammad will be among 11 recipients honoured with the 2015 Prince Claus Award. This will make him the fifth Syrian recipient of the prestigious Dutch award, which recognises a lifetime of contribution to the fields of culture and development.

عن مجمل مساهمته في السينما السورية تلقى أسامة محمد جائزة "الامير كلاوس ٢٠١٥" ليكون رابع سوري يتلقى الجائزة المرموقة منذ اطلاقها، وهي جائزة تكرم المبدعين والمفكرين عن مجمل نتاجهم ومساهمتهم في ثقافة وفنون بلدانهم.

The award is created by Scam and Cannes Festival for the first time in 2015 to honour Documentary Cinema. Presided by Rithy Panh, with Nicolas Philibert, Irene Jocob and Scott Foundas of Variety, in addition to El Jeiroudi, as members, the jury will award the best documentary across Official Selection, Sidebars, Directors’ Fortnight and Critics Week.
