Four shoot-outs decide ABN AMRO EHL FINAL4 spots after intense

Four shoot-outs decided the second set of ABN AMRO EHL FINAL4 sides as Rot-Weiss Köln, Düsseldorfer HC, Atlètic Terrassa and Den Bosch all keeping their title dreams alive into the weekend at the Wagener Stadium.
Rot-Weiss will now meet Atlètic in the men’s FINAL4 while Düsseldorf face Den Bosch on Sunday.
Saturday, meanwhile, sees the first semi-final games with Bloemendaal facing Racing Club de Bruxelles (13.45 CET) and Club de Campo meeting Complutense in the women’s competition at 16.00 CET.
Here’s a round-up of the action from day two..

Hamburger Polo Club 4 (K Russell 2 Rot-Weiss Köln 4 (F Pelzner, T Prinz, M Grambsuch, M van der Weerden), Rot-Weiss win shoot-out 3-0
Rot-Weiss Köln produced a comeback for the ages as they came back from 4-1 down to win a shoot-out and advance to the FINAL4 of the men’s competition in breathtaking fashion.
Polo got off to a great start as Kane Russell netted twice in the first 17 minutes - one stroke, one corner - either side of a strike from Florian Pelzner for a 2-1 lead. Their counter-attack game was working really well as they frustrated Rot-Weiss for long periods and they pulled further clear in the second half.
Max Silanoglu ghosted around the right baseline and turned in a third goal and then Constantin Staib popped in a close-range effort. It seemingly put them out of sight but the Köln got a lifeline when Thies Prinz juggled the ball brilliantly into the goal just before the end of the third quarter.
Polo’s Paul Smith hit the post in a vital moment which would have made it 5-2; instead, Mats Grambusch made it really tight with a smart finish and then Mink van der Weerden completed the fightback with a drag-flick with two minutes to go.
And so it went to shoot-out where Rot-Weiss held their nerve, scoring their first three efforts while Polo could not find a way past Vincent Vanasch. They go through to the FINAL4 as a result.

Atlètic Terrassa 2 (Joan Tarres, Pol Cabré-Verdiell) Gantoise 2 (Maxime Deplus, Antoine Kina), Atlètic win shoot-out 3-2
Atlètic Terrassa completed the men’s FINAL4 line-up as Marc Calzada produced the goods in a shoot-out once more to send their fans delirious after another big EHL tussle with Gantoise.
Joan Tarres broke the deadlock with a thunderous strike from the top of the D on the volley following a cracking piece of build-up play down the right wing in the 14th minute.
Gantoise replied just the other side of the first break from their third corner of the contest, Maxime Deplus following up a rebound created by Antoine Kina’s slap at goal.
After that big burst, it was the Belgian side who came on strong but found Atlètic a tough nut to crack. Johannes Mooij had to scoop one effort off the goal line while - in the third quarter - it was panic stations as Roman Duvekot miscued from a glorious chances and Mathis Clément also missed out.
Antoine Kina hit the post from an improvised, bouncing corner shot and the pressure eventually told with eight minutes to go when he pushed their ninth corner into the left side of the backboard.
But Atlèti responded brilliantly with Marc Salles driving them on. He set Jordi Bonastre free and his cross found Pol Cabré-Verdiell who smashed home from mid-circle.
It made for a third shoot-out of the day in which the first five were all scored with Atlètic leading 3-2. After that, the next five were all missed as Marc Calzada denied Timothée Clément for a big victory.

Madrid clubs shine as Bloemendaal and
Racing advance to FINAL4

Sanse Complutense and Club de Campo set up a Madrid derby in the ABN AMRO EHL Women’s FINAL4 following their FINAL8 victories while Bloemendaal and Royal Racing Club de Bruxelles advanced to the men’s semi-finals.
WOMEN
Pembroke 0 Sanse Complutense 4 (Maria Garcia, Sara Carmona, Paula Jimenez, Valentina Teruggi)
Sanse Complutense made a strong EHL debut to advance to the FINAL4 of the EHL Women’s competition, seeing off fellow first-time entrants 4-0.
It took less than three minutes to get off the mark as Paula Jimenez broke down the right wing and her cross into the centre was turned in by Maria Garcia.
Jimenez then provided the assist from the same area with Sara Carmona this time taking a sharp chance at the left post.
Jimenez got the goal her performance deserved in the third quarter with a corner rebound and Valentina Teruggi completed the win in the closing stages with a close range deflection.

Gantoise 0 Club de Campo de Madrid 3 (Empar Gil, Alejandra Torres-Quevedo, Lucia Abajo Saenz de Tejada)
Club de Campo set up an all-Madrid FINAL4 battle as they had the ruthless edge in the circle to get by the challenge of Gantoise.
They went in front from a corner when Maria Lopez slapped the ball to the right post where Empar Gil guided the ball home. Campo had another disallowed on video with the corner stopped inside the circle but they had their second goal two minutes into the second quarter following a flowing move with Blanca Perez finding Alejandra Torres-Quevedo all alone on the left and she took her time before banding in.
Gantoise were dangerous at times with balls flashing across the face of the Spanish side’s goal with some good scramble defense in the third quarter.
But Campo always had a big threat and they were out of sight with six minutes to go when Carmen Cano’s shot got a tip from Lucia Abajo Saenz de Tejada.
MEN
HC Bloemendaal 7 (Tim Swaen 2, Thierry Brinkman 2, C van der Veen, T Beins, T Hiebendaal) Harvestehuder THC 2 (P Glander, M Körper)
Bloemendaal produced a breathtaking second half to pull away from Harvestehuder THC and continue their incredible winning run in the EHL.
Thierry Brinkman did get Bloemendaal off to a brilliant start, shooting home on his backhand in the second minute but HTHC battled back with 17-year-old Paul Glander ripping home a penalty corner drag-flick via a defensive stick for 1-1.
In a brilliant first half, the chances flowed thick and fast and it looked evenly poised at the big break but the Dutch giants pulled away in the second half. Tim Swaen dragged in a corner to take back the lead.
And then Casper van der Veen burst clear to finish off a pitch-length move with a beauty of a goal and 3-1. Brinkman picked up the pieces for a fourth before the end of Q3.
Teun Beins and Swaen notched corner second phase goals and while Michael Körper dragged one back, Tom Hiebendaal then finished off the victory.

Pinoké 2 (Marlon Landbrug, Alex Hendrickx) Royal Racing Club de Bruxelles 3 (Samuel Malherbe 2, Tanguy Cosyns)
Royal Racing Club de Bruxelles made it through to the EHL Men’s FINAL4 for the second time as they stunned a raucous Wagener Stadium to outdoor hosts Pinoké.
Tanguy Cosyns grabbed the winner with a rocket drag-flick with 11 minutes to go and they just about held on as Pinoké hit the post in the closing seconds to prevent a shoot-out.
The Amstelveen club hit the front six minutes in when Marlon Landbrug popped up on the left baseline and picked out the top corner with a great flick.
Racing, though, were not unnerved by the loud crowd, enjoying a break in the day’s torrential rain. And they got back on terms when Samuel Malherbe’s dancing run in from the left wing ended with the ball squeezing into the net off a defensive stick.
Malherbe then put his side in front when he followed off the pads of Hidde Brink with a smart rebound. Alex Hendrickx slung in for 2-2 at half-time from a corner, setting up a lively second half.
Racing, though, looked the side more likely to breakthrough with Alexis Cayphas unable to cash in from a big chance before Cosyns got the big corner goal. Hendrickx missed out from a drag of his own late on and then hit the post. Racing go on to face Bloemendaal in the FINAL4.

بریگیڈئیر کھوکھر نے پچھلے ساتھ مہینوں میں حیدر حسین کی طرف سے مالی کرپشن کے حوالے سے متعد بار آگاہ کیا ہے اور بے جا پی ایچ ایف کے پیسوں پر اپنے دوستوں کو لاہور کراچی کی ائیر ٹکٹس مفت بانٹی ہیں اور اسکے علاوہ شاہ خرچیوں سے منع کیا ہے۔
اور دوسری طرف حیدر حسین ، بریگیڈئیر کھوکھر کی پچھلے ساتت سالوں کی مالی بے ضابطگیوں کے حوالے سے بہت سے ثبوت پہلے ہی متعلقہ اداروں کو دے چکا ہے۔

۵ رکنی کمیٹمی میں ڈی جی پاکستان سپورٹس بورڈ، اولمپین اختر رسول، اولمپین اصلاح الدین، اولمپین شہناز شیخ اور اولمپین خواجہ جنید شامل۔

پی ایچ ایف کا ۶۰ دن کے لئے انتظامی معملات چلانے کے ساتھ ساتھ ۲۰۱۵ آئین کے مطابق انتظامی اور پرفارمنس آڈٹ کیا جائے گا۔

کمیٹی باقاعدہ طور پر اگلے ہفتے میں کسی بھی روز پی ایچ ایف ہیڈآفس کا کنٹرول سنبھال لے گی۔

یاد رہے کہ پاکستان سپورٹس بوڑڈ نے ۷ جولائی ۲۰۲۲ کو بریگیڈئیر خالد سجاد کھوکھر اور آصف باجوہ کو ڈی نوٹیفائی کر دیا تھا۔ یہ پانچ رکنی کمیٹی کی تعیناتی ساتھ مہینوں باد وزیراعظم پاکستان میاں شہباز شریف کی جانب سے کی گئی ہے۔

کراچی میں ہاکی کی تباہی کا ذمہ دار اب ملک کے باقی صوبوں میں تباہی مچا رہا ہے، محمد رمضان پریزیڈینٹ قصور ہاکی ایسوسی ایشن


ہاکی پاکستان کا قومی کھیل ہے۔ جس نے قیام پاکستان کے بعد 1960 میں کھیلوں کے سب سے بڑے میلے اولمپکس گیمز میں گولڈ میڈل جیت کر پاکستان کا نام دنیا میں روشن کیا۔ انیسویں صدی کے اختتام تک پاکستان نے دنیائے ہاکی میں اپنا لوہا منوایا ۔ لیکن سن 2000 کے بعد پاکستان کی ہاکی زوال کا شکار ہو گئی۔ لیکن سوال یہ ہے کہ ایسا ہوا کیوں۔ پاکستان کی یہ سوہنی دھرتی چار صوبوں پر مشتمل ہے۔ اور ہر صوبہ ہی مہارت اور محنت میں اپنی مثال آپ ہے ۔ تو سب سے پہلے صوبہ سندھ پر نظر دوڑاتے ہیں جس نے حنیف خاں ، وسیم فیروز، حسن سردار، کامران اشرف، اور دنیائے ہاکی میں سب سے زیادہ گول کرنے والے سہیل عباس جیسے سپوت پاکستان ہاکی کو دیے۔ لیکن اچانک ایسا کیا ہوا کہ اب صوبہ سندھ کا ایک بھی کھلاڑی قومی ہاکی ٹیم میں شامل نہیں ہے ۔ آخری کھلاڑی جس نے صوبہ سندھ سے پاکستان کی نمائندگی کی وہ حسیم خاں تھا۔ اس کے بعد سے صوبہ سندھ کی ہاکی زوال پذیر ہے۔ تو وجہ کوئی تو ہے جو سندھ پیچھے رہ گیا ۔ جی ہاں وجہ ہے اور وہ وجہ ہے سید حیدر حسین نے۔ جس نے پچھلی دو دہائیوں میں صوبہ سندھ کی ہاکی کو وہاں پہنچایا جہاں سے اسے واپسی کے لیے ایک وقت درکار ہے۔
سید حیدر حسین ایک کرپٹ اور مفاد پرست انسان ہے اس نے اپنے مفاد کے لیے دنیائے ہاکی کے ان عظیم ستاروں کو ایک طرف کر دیا۔ اس نے آہستہ آہستہ اپنے سیاسی ہتھکنڈوں سے پہلے کراچی کی ہاکی پر قبضہ کیا اور اب پاکستان کی ہاکی کو تباہ کرنے کے در پے ہے۔ اور انتہائی افسوس کے ساتھ کہنا پڑھ رہا ہے کہ اس کے پیچھے پاکستان کی قومی جماعت کہلوانے والی پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی کی مشہور پارلیمنٹرین شہلا رضا
کا ہاتھ ہے۔ جس کی سیاسی پشت پناہی سے آج سید حیدر حسین جعل سازی سے جنرل سیکرٹری بنا بیٹھا ہے بلکہ پاکستان کے قومی کھیل کو ختم کرنے کے در پے ہے۔ اس نے آتے ہیں پنجاب کی ہاکی کو بھی قابل ذکر نقصان پہنچایا ہے۔ پنجاب میں ان لوگوں کو آگے لیکر آیا ہے جن کا ہاکی کھیلنے اور کھلانے سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ۔ اگر بروقت سید حیدر حسین نامی وبا کا خاتمہ نہ کیا گیا تو وہ دن دور نہیں جب پاکستان کی رہی سہی ہاکی بھی اپنے نقطئہ اختتام کو پہنچ جائے گی۔۔۔۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق کامن ویلتھ گیمز برمنگھم 22ء ہاکی مینز کے شیڈول کا اعلان ہوگیا. ایونٹ 29 جولائی سے شروع ہوگا. تمام ٹیموں کو دو پول میں تقسیم کیا گیا ہے. پول اے میں آسٹریلیا,نیوزی لینڈ, ساؤتھ آفریقہ, پاکستان اور اسکاٹ لینڈ جبکہ پول بی میں بھارت, انگلینڈ ,کینیڈا,ویلز اور گھانا کی ٹیمیں شامل ہیں.

تفصیلات کے مطابق پاکستان ہاکی فیڈریشن کے صدر بریگیڈیئر (ر) خالد سجاد کھوکھر نے ایشیاء ہاکی کپ جکارتہ میں قومی ہاکی ٹیم کی پرفارمنس اور ورلڈ کپ کوالیفائی نہ کرنے کی وجوہات جانچنے کے حوالے سے اولمپیئن کلیم اللہ کی سربراہی میں تین رکنی انکوائری کمیٹی تشکیل دیدی. کمیٹی میں اولمپیئن کلیم اللہ کے علاوہ اولمپیئن ناصر علی اور کے پی کے ہاکی ایسوسی ایشن کے صدر ظاہر شاہ بھی شامل ہونگے.انکوائری کمیٹی قومی ہاکی ٹیم کی وطن واپسی کے بعد 20 جون تک اپنی رپورٹ پی ایچ ایف صدر کو جمع کرائے گی.رپورٹ کی روشنی میں ذمہ داروں کا تعین کرکے انکے خلاف کاروائی عمل میں لائی جائے گی.
