My little brother is turning 22 todayyyy!!! š„¹š„³ Wild! 22 years ago, I got to meet him, and at first, I wasnāt exactly amused haha. Sure, it was great having someone to play with and dress up, but he cried so much as a babyāit was exhausting! And like most siblings, we also fought quite a bit.
Now, though, heās so much more than my āannoying little brother.ā Heās become one of my best friends, my favorite travel buddy, and just one of my all-time favorite people to spend time with. I think it all started when we backpacked through France and Italy for three weeks after I graduated high school. Even though I was 18 and he was just 15, we had such an amazing time together.
Watching him grow into the person he is today has been incredible. Heās kind, generous, hilarious, stylish, genuine, and he loves Jesus with his whole heart. Heās an incredible brother and friend, and I couldnāt be prouder.
Also, can we please acknowledge the glow-up over these last two years?

My heart needed this trip so badly!!! Truly an unforgettable experience, especially seeing my beautiful friend @nadiaevargas say yes to the love of her life and having the honor of being one of her bridesmaids. Another huge plus was seeing my best friends after over a year apart ā it felt like coming home, full of joy, laughter, and little adventures. Redding and these incredible women will forever hold a special place in my heart!!! Thank you, Jesus, for orchestrating this incredible reunion. Praying that the next one wonāt be in over a year because I canāt stand being so far from these beauties. ā„ļøā”Ģ

Und ich sage das nicht nur, weil es sich schƶn anhƶrt und es das āRichtigeā ist zu sagen. Ich meine es von tiefstem Herzen.
Mama, ohne dich wƤre ich nicht, wer ich bin. Ich bin so dankbar fĆ¼r dich und wer du bist.
Ich liebe es, dass du mir so viele von deinen wunderschƶnen Attributen gegeben hast wie deine dunklen Haare, deine GrƶĆe und deine grĆ¼nen Augen. Aber viel mehr als die ƤuĆeren Dinge, die ich von dir habe, bin ich dankbar fĆ¼r:
dein wunderschƶnes Herz und die Werte, die du in mich gepflanzt hast;
deine Liebe, die mich fĆ¼r immer inspiriert und herausfordert, noch selbstloser und groĆzĆ¼giger zu lieben;
die Zeit und Aufmerksamkeit, die du mir bewusst gibst;
deine Geduld und UnterstĆ¼tzung, die mir immer wieder zeigen, wie geduldig Jesus mit mir ist und wie gut er mich versorgt und unterstĆ¼tzt;
deine Liebe zu reisen und die Welt zu erkunden und natĆ¼rlich deine Liebe fĆ¼r Schokolade, die du frecherweise auch an mich weitergegeben hast, hehe;
und last but not least deine Gebete, ohne die sich mein Leben vor 5 Jahren nicht so radikal verƤndert hƤtte und ohne die ich definitiv nicht die Person wƤre, die ich jetzt bin.
Ich kƶnnte noch so viel mehr sagen, aber um nicht den Rahmen zu sprengen: DANKE. Ich werde es immer und immer wieder sagen, weil es wirklich ein absolutes Geschenk ist, deine Tochter sein zu dĆ¼rfen.
